I think I timed it at 10-12 hrs of straight playtime to hit level 20.

It gets harder and longer (what she said) as you get higher in level.

Optimistically let's say it's a good 60-80hrs actual playtime to hit cap.

2 hours of play a day x 7 days = 14hrs a week.

70/14 = 5 weeks. Just to get to capped level at a casual pace and that's just a guess it could take longer and you might not play 2 hours everyday or w/e.

Let's say 6 weeks to cap level meaning mid June. You have July/August till it may come out. You have 1-2 months without bgs. During summer.....


So the casual PvE'ers have no problems with it, good to know.


I'll be playing on a PvP server. Which technically will probably be even longer to level pending on amount of OWPVP.

But again...why did you make another thread about a topic that is already open?


I manged to level 2 characters past 30, and thats is including the time i had to work during weekends.

My guess would be, we will see people already max level @ release, considering we keep our open beta characters + head start., if people can get 38 in a weekend, expect them to be 58-60 way before 80hours of gameplay.

It's fine to have goals but don't attempt to gloat your speed leveling at me. Just because it can be done fast doesn't mean that is what the majority is going to do.

I do not agree with rushing games anymore because you get to the end and claim "there's nothing to do," "I'm bored," "this game is [filtered] I quit." Been there and done that in a few MMOs myself and I won't personally be doing it again. I've learned to spread my game time out through a few games and not just focus on one and burnout on it. I feel that most people will play at most a few hours a day as I listed.

they really boost the exp gain for NA version? damnit its already quite easy to level in Ktera...+ no BG in the end game = massive quit after 30 days free trial

I spent 20 days to hit 60 in Ktera (4-6 hours/day)

WoW didn't start to suck until BGs were added, but I think I'll like BGs in this game far more than in WoW...


That's for sure, open world pvp in WoW was pretty fun until they added the stupid battlegrounds. They can take their time as far as i am concerned.

Might have to play for the first free month, Get max level, get geared and reactivate when they introduce BGs/more content. What they have in the game now might satisfy the casual player but a hardcore no lifer will be wanting more. Depends on the activity of OWPvP and GvG I suppose.

Honestly, I've always liked PvP, but for me these days it just something I do on the side when the mood strikes. Most of the time when I'm looking for my PvP fix I fire up a game that was specifically designed with only PvP in mind.

That, combined with the fact that MMOs always seem to have way more PvE servers than PvP servers.. I'll just say that I've been disappointed with how much of these CBT tests seem centered on PvP tweaks. We knew that was coming, as EME never really hid the fact that PvP was not fleshed out. I had just hoped to see more, or at least equal focus, on PvE adjustments during the closed beta.

So, difficult for me to be excited about hearing even more time getting spent on PvP through battlegrounds post-launch when we're still waiting on so many PvE features to pan out.

Yes, I'm aware that some players feel the rest of the game is already perfect. A forum full of threads disagree.
