i hear you. this is my first post for a reason - i tend to avoid forums and the flame wars they seem to start. but i felt compelled because i really like the game and would really enjoy the wonderful visuals more by hiding alot of the combat clutter.

maybe an addon can accomplish this if the TERA team is too busy? does TERA even support addons? i heard someone say that KTERA has them. anyone know?


NA TERA does not have official addon support and using such things are against the ToS. I'm sure it would be easy to make a setting that turns of damage numbers.

Give us the option to remove combat text if we so desire.

Standard options in pretty much ANY other game...


agreed... its just a simple choice. we arent asking for it to be removed.. just help me focus on the "ACTION COMBAT" and not all these silly distractions.. add in all the crap loot littering the floor that needs to be looted and all the exp messages.. omfg NUMBER and ICON spam. please let us enjoy the game without all these immersion killing gnats.

/agree with the OP. The viewable area on the UI is just WAY too cluttered with icons, particle effects and numbers from damage and healing. There needs to be some way to hide the numbers, have them display only to the combat log, or put them in a smaller, static area of the screen where they wont obscure anything.
