Best controller Class

was wonderin what the best class to play with a controller is?
i know you can play them all, but some , especially for pvp require mouse n keyboard to be most effective.
I currently play archer with controller and find it pretty good, but things like zerker are harder because its hard to charge an attack and use both joysticks to aim it.

what in you're guys' opinion is a good class to play with controller, for the most part. ie. id grind to endgame with controller but id use mouse n keys for pvp and raids or when i actually have to try.
im thinking it would be slayer?

no like im told with a warrior , you can use controller for mob grind, but youu need mouse for tanking and instances, and pvp. but i feel the with a slayer you could get away with controller 24/7, and zerker is a mix

I tried archer with a controller and just couldnt do it. I dont think a controller player can ever be as effective as a KBM player in a game like this...just my opinion...especially if you are PVPing....

ya i get that but some are alot easier, i know that itll never be the same, but which classes are the least disabled by a controller?
i actually got my archer to 34 with controller and have gotten really used to it, even killed a slayer in pvp using controller.

it seems, just from a basic understanding of the classes, that slayer would probably be the most effective using a controller.

I've played an Archer, Warrior, Berserker, and Priest with my 360 controller. I stopped playing archer because I still don't like how they're set up (tried in CBT and hated it), I haven't tried any other classes than the ones listed before. I found it fairly easy to play all with the controller, all I need is a little more camera sensitivity so I can turn it quicker when fighting multiple mobs.

I've tried playing my lvl24 warrior with the controller but I found it difficult and a bit silly because she's on a PvP and I can't react very quickly if someone decides to attack me while I'm fighting something. My Priest is on PvP as well but she's still stranded on the Island of Dawn. My war and zerker are on PvE and I hardly take damage when fighting, just the minions get a few hits off before I 1-shot them.

I'd say keep the controller for PvE grinding, and mouse+keyboard for PvP.

^ thx for response, was the difference, pve wise between warrior and zerker on controller alot? or are they the same control wise in that you can grind mobs without having to go to mouse?
because for my zerker i can get away with using controller, but sumtimes i miss due to not moving the camera properly for mobs,
but i feel that this would be worse on warrior because alot of their attacks cause movement and if camera isnt where its supposed to be i have feeling theyll just swing past the mobs alot?

You will have the same problem with a Slayer as well, attacks cause movement and correct me if I'm wrong but the Slayer has a lot of abilities, won't you run out of keys?

Not sure if somebody else mentioned this because I only read the OP but you can change whether your character attacks toward your camera direction or character direction and the setting can be found in the controller options menu.

I've found that for ranged classes the attack towards camera direction option is much better but for melee I also found it cumbersome to try and use both joysticks and found that attacking towards character direction was a lot nicer. Hope this helps.
