I'm seeking the best overall race for PvP and PvE. Mix between the two for there racials. Any suggestions?

It doesn't matter, choose the one you think looks the best, animation and gear wise. Racials are extremely useless, especially later on.

I agree races don't matter enough for you to choose a race you don't like the appearance of, but because of their short size you might consider an Elin or a Popori so they can 'hide' behind the front lines and snipe. A Baraka, because of their massive size, would be more readily be made a target in my opinion.

Please, just whatever you do.... don't make him a male elf named Legolas, Legolass, Leggolus, or any variation of the name.

Agreed, race does not matter. it's what you like.. Personal opinion: Baraka don't look good as archer. The bow looks too small for such a big character.
