We are excited to open the subforum devoted to the second closed beta test!
Please use the CBT2 forum to share and discuss your feedback on the various features about TERA.
Thank you!
I had a huge technical problem with Tera. When I changed my screen ratio I received a black screen. Naturally, I looked at Support to fix my predicament. I did as the instructions follow, to delete S1Option1n1, but every time I logged into the game the file would recreate itself. Eventually, I had to reinstall the game, which of course means downloading as well. The servers are extremely slow, and therefore I probably won't be able to participate in this weekend's beta. This is a huge bug that needs to be fixed.
I'm not sure if this was yet addressed but there has to be a way to replenish and regenerate HP/MP out of combat at a faster pace.
The downtime from a PVP battle is far too long. I'm not sure exactly what the plans are for outside combat regeneration besides a campfire, but a small boost would be nice.
The game is running very smoothly for me, about the only thing I can see wrong is a minor detail in quests that tell you to go East and West... The directions are reversed in correlation to the map. If the quest says go west, the mob your looking for is to the east, etc.
Am I suppose to make suggestions here? Well, don't know where CBT2 forums is but I'm going to leave it here then...
#1 You shouldn't be able to declare Outlaw in an instance... it disables you from picking up Mystic's healing orbs... unsure if it does damage to other players, but when I accidentially enabled outlaw, I don't believe I was hitting my teammates.
#2 You shouldn't need to be out of combat for 120 seconds to kick someone from group. I understand that this can be abusable if you wanna steal loot or force people out of the final boss. However, in my instance, someone disconnected before we even started a dungeon but I was killing monsters and had to wait for 120 seconds to kick someone. If this stays in the game, you should be able to kick them out in open world at any time then.
#3 You should be able to re-enter a dungeon you were doing if you DC-ed or for some reason left the dungeon. A teammate got 60 minute timer and asked us to leave to see if re-entering would fix it, but when we tried to re-enter, we all got hit by a 60 minute timer.
tons of great things to say - but it closed beta and the time to complain would be now but in a constructive way. No point in slowing down to appreciate the beauty of the graphics the developers have provided with a billion (slightly exagerated but point made) pointless aggro mobs that systematically /push kit you into a billion more senseless aggro mobs - the exploration value of the world is diminished. Less pesky little aoe kite fights and more 1-2 v 1 strong arm mobs
#4 I figured the problem with #3. What happens is that when you enter a dungeon when someone has not resetted from their previous dungeon (ie. party decides to re-run but adds replacements), you're entered into a brand new instance and upon leaving, it brands you as a dungeon leaving and tags you with a 60 min CD.
*Note --I have not tested this out this -- if the previous party would leave, having the replacements stay in group, then reset the instance, and re-enter to enter the new replacements' instance.
multiple bind points are cool - an aion thing but it works, campfire/town options
I havent been able to test all weekend. I cant connect to any of the available servers. Anyone else have this problem??
Im a UK player with an active pre-order account and was in CBT1 last weekend.
I have few things to say, first This is just nit picking but there are no water physics and i find it odd running on water and it does look like your running ina puddle or when swimming the water does react to your character its just odd.
Any who I only have one major thing that a absolutely don't like about the outlaw system. That once u declare yourself as outlaw and you start going at it with who ever u wanna kill, everyone can attack you. the problem? well i would think to make it fair that who ever attacks the outlaw becomes outlaws themselves since they are not the original outlaws target. in this current make outlaw you can never be an outlaw and kill who u want to kill ( given the victim can defend themselves) with out being zerged hard, thus why would anyone want to go outlaw? it simply defeats the purpose of a pvp server. a simple fix is simply have it that who ever attacks the outlaw becomes on outlaw themselves and the only one exempt from this is the original target.
