I had a blast playing this weekend. Like many others have said: I'm hooked! The graphics are amazing and I love the visual style/art direction. Environments are beautiful, mobs and BAMS are really cool looking, characters are gorgeous (Castanic FTW!), combat is wonderful and is a welcome breath of fresh air from the rest of the MMO world, and I didn't feel as if I was grinding once the entire time I played. I can't wait until I can play as long as I want! Ha.

But of course this is a CB and there is a little room for improvement. Most of these issues have already been brought up but I played the CB and wanna take my part and reinforce what other people have said.

- I was really disappointed that adornments/eye colors are restricted to certain face models. I don't know if this can be changed or not but I'm sure a lot of people would appreciate it. More options when creating your character are always good! If possible please allow us to put whatever adornments/eye colors on whatever face we want. Otherwise I was very impressed with the ease of creating a character.
- The tutorial system was a bit vague and could be a little more structured. It would be nice to have crafting/enchanting tutorials.
- Pegasus flight takes waaaaay too long. I really don't see why the Pegasus has to fly around in a bunch of circles and stuff before reaching the destination. The first time I was really confused on where the thing was going and thought it was just gonna fly me around in a few circles and then land right back where we took off from, haha. I really love the whole warp sequence though. Pretty awesome.
- I found the lack of a day/night cycle to be quite a bummer! I feel like it's almost a necessity in any kind of open world RPG/MMO. I feel like it can be done without the lore getting screwed up. Perhaps the Ring can act as both a sun and a moon! It could simply fade to moonlight at night time. However I realize this would be really difficult and time consuming to implement this close to release, so I'm not counting on anything. . . but it would be great.
- More gear variations. I also found it pretty lame that armor merely changed in color and not appearance a lot of the time.
- As someone stated before, it would be nice to get less "trash" as drops. My inventory was almost always full of gear or other items that I had no use for or was clueless as to what to use them for. It would be nice to have an explanation pop up every time we get a new kind of item.
- Things are very pricey in this game! I don't think pegasus flights should be so expensive at low levels, also teleportation scrolls were really expensive too, especially considering how often you could pick them up from quests and mobs for free.

That's about all of the suggestions I have. This weekend was wonderful and got me uber excited for this game. Can't wait!

Honestly, I know most people have been saying this on pricing and to some extent, and don't get me wrong, I do agree to some extent.

However, I like the fact that some stuff is expensive with reason and I understand why some items are the same being white or green, which has a lot to do with enchanting and etc. (So it makes sense, since one can be built upon, while the other cannot.)

I just think that, while taking some of these things into consideration with gamewise thing and not necessarily mechanic based, PLEASE DON'T MAKE THE GAME TOO EASY.

It's good to pay heed to us players, but please do not bend over backwards for us. You made this game and some of us, while we my complain, may not truly know what we want. Please just read between the lines and handle some of the stuff that must be done and not all of the real nitpicks unless it's that blaring of an issue.

I do not really want an easy game and I actually enjoy the difficulty of this game. I find myself soloing a lot of the bosses and having fun having to risk it out which the chance of someone actually jumping me in the process. Sure it may SEEM frustrating at the time, but it gives me the ambition to keep going and if I die, jump up, run out there and jump them and try the boss again.

I think 500k for those enigma id scrolls may be high, but after I started playing around in the stocks store, I kind of started making quick money in seconds flat. So then, it didn't really matter. Still, I feel like its something rewarding in where you have to work for it instead of you guys just making it all easy and being handed to us.

Why?

Simply because I don't want everyone having easy enig id scrolls and everyone having amazing gear and running around with it for doing almost absolutely nothing to really get it.

/agreed most customizations should be avaliable. also add a NPC to change hairstyle n such.

/disagree The questing is linear and easy to do.

/agreed however its not that annoying, just take a breather as u teleport about and pick up a snack or something :P

/disagree there are awesome places in the game that looks way awesome
(You'll see this in CBT 3-4)

/disagree Though I see your point, maybe they should add armor remodling /shurgs (AION Concept)

/agree some items should be sellable ie: Bombs

/disagree when you actually get higher in level and you do instances your money goes up pretty fast. (Ended with close 600k in gold CBT#2)

Had an excellent time in CB2, have to agree with some of what is written in this thread, and have to take a sec to congratulate the community for being sensible and post legitimate posts instead of the regular QQ threads I am so used to seeing, it's refreshing and I thank you for that :)

After reading all the posts, I do agree with quite a few issues, but at the same time, I see a bit of a trend happening, especially in regards to the cost of things and the look of things, I think over time, as we level up, some have already said this, things do get easier and a little better, I think it's kind of a reward for sticking it out, and actually makes you kind of eager to keep going, just to see what's next, the variety and such seems a little low, but at the same time, it was just enough to keep me interested to see what's next, why blow it all out in the first 10 levels?? But to each their own, I personally think that EME and BHS have something here, and I think it will be awesome, I can't wait to continue the journey....

Just my 2 cents worth...good job all :)

- Difficulty of play is far too easy until the player gets high enough to do BAMS and what not. I found my self as a level 5 Mystic skipping the quests and finding the highest level mobs on noob island to fight. I found that without fighting 3 level 10+ mobs or more it was not challenging in the least. A single level 11 was very easy.

-No exp for killing mobs 10 levels higher than you. Why? Even if I received the same exp for killing something 11 levels higher than me as 9 that would be okay, but zero xp? As a 12 Mystic I was able to kill a level 25 mob, and I killed a half dozen in a row just to make sure it wasn't an anomaly. Zero xp.

-I found mobs just did NOT hit nearly hard enough to cause a challenge unless you kill them many levels above you. At least not until the first BAMS. I don't want to have to spend all my time looking for BAMS just so that I may have a fun challenging fight.

Thank You Kindly

Story Quests - Far too often I had to stop doing story quests and level up either quest grinding or slightly more fun higher level mob grinding. Why did I have to stop? I had to stop because I was too low level for the next quest....

Please put a recommended level on the quest but don;t stop me from continuing them, especially when I went and killed the same mobs that the next story quest is going to ask me to kill just to level high enough to find out I had to go kill the same things again. The quest level restrictions seemed very arbitrary.

The lack of difficulty is disappointing seeing as I pre-ordered the game because of the promised challenging combat system. Don't get me wrong the system is great. In fact contains many levels of awesomeness. I just need to feel challenged to continue playing the game.

Levels 1-20 Feel like a complete waste of time. The story is okay the first time around but not interesting a second time.

Specific to noob island. The skill and combat system might as well not exist. I can stand in front of a mob and spam a normal attack on it and kill it. This doesn't teach me to play the character correctly, the wonders of the combat system, or learn the new abilities I receive every two levels. In fact it gives me a bad impression of the game as it doesn't seem much different from a target and auto-attack game if the player isn't interested in jumping around and using their skills they have no need to use them.

I had an issue where if I was using a scroll, say a resurrection scroll to revive a party member during an instance, usually the case was that there were still a bunch of mobs around that were hitting my other party members and doing aoes and such. So, in this case if the scroll was interrupted, it would cancel the scroll, give me a cooldown, and sometimes using the scroll in the process. This is extremely problematic, as res scrolls are drops only from what i've seen and if another party member doesn't have one, or it's the priest who has died, you're pretty much S.O.L.

Only thing I can think of atm.. that and maybe making it so that those giant spiders outside SM can't approach the instance entrance and NPC turn-in area. Silly trolls keep luring them.

I really enjoyed the beta, but I think there is one thing that might greatly improve the gameplay (if there isn't a way to do this already).

I think it would be great to give the player the option to move the crosshair up slightly from its current position. When I play a ranged, I usually like to get a somewhat bird's eye view of the situation. If the player was able to move the crosshair up a bit, targeting max range mobs wouldn't start to feel like a full fps. If the actual targetting works the way I think it does (ray tracing from camera and character) then implementation might not be difficult. I know it's something I would really like to see. If not, I'll just stick to melee :P

Hey please can you adjust the amount of stuff you need to turn in for the introductory crafting quests... or reduce the require materials.

Pease, Please

I never had any major bugs to report but a few things i was wondering about.
I noticed when using xbox controller there was an option to have attacks and abilities hit where the cross-hairs are or camera/char direction. I don't remember exactly but that option isnt available when using mouse and i think i would be nice to have. Also, mentioned before was party members being out in dif channels. This was a little frustrating. Would just make sense to put party members in same channel when zoning.
