hi guys atm im playing lineage 2=/ but the game totally sucks [filtered] from all the bots one my m8s told me about this game today. So before i Pre Order the game wanna make sure ill be able to play thanks for taking the time to read my post.

"Will there be servers located in Australia or Oceania?


We would love to support players in the southern hemisphere by locating servers there, but at the present we only have TERA servers in North America. That being said, we’ve had players from Australia participate in our testing process and TERA is quite playable from there, so if you’re interested we would encourage you to give the game a try."

In the same vein i am living in japan (american) the japan version is out here but i would rather play the game in english. if i get the game will i be able to jump on the america servers? or will i be only able to play on japanese servers?

To keep the quality of service high for players within North America we have decided to disable IP addresses from which fraudulent traffic originates. We encourage players in these regions to participate on servers specifically designated for their area.

We block IP addresses used by hackers

En Masse will block IPs based on region. Asia, Africa, Russia, and the Middle East are included on the block list. While we appreciate that there are players in these regions who would enjoy playing on En Masse servers, it's unfortunate that the vast majority of Internet traffic we see from these regions are from cyber-criminals relating to account theft, gold-farming and other hacking behavior.

What about proxies?

Services that promise to improve your ping and decrease lag may sound promising, but they are frequently used by hackers and criminals who want to remain anonymous. Although we do not block them by default, a proxy or server host will be blocked if it becomes a popular tool for criminal behavior."


Sadly, it looks like you will not be able to play the NA version from Japan.

All information about playing TERA outside NA can be found at the link below. As mentioned above, Oceanic is supported to play NA (just no servers in AUS). Note that page also has a link to the IP-blocked countries that won't be able to play NA (at least, not without using proxies).
