So i want to make a certain chain skill trigger out of combat. It's pounce>traverse>bladedraw. However neither pounce or traverse cut show up in the trigger menu since they have an inherent skill that triggers out of it. Very annoying that i cant make this trigger out of combat

Yeah, I feel you. I'd really like to change what Pounce chains in to since I generally use Combative Strike to chain in Traverse Cut. Abilities that are affected by multiple abilities should be given the option to choose one or the other, or both, instead of having 5 different abilities modifying it and being used at once.

At this point in the game I barely use the Chain button as a Warrior, since I can't modify half of my chains.

I agree whole heartedly, especially the fact that half my skills don't show up in chain list
