Maybe this is too soon, maybe it's not. But, there are three very low populated PvE servers right now. What are the chances they're going to get merged?

Very unlikely to occur in the near future. As it stands right now, if you are unhappy with the server you are currently on, you are more than welcome to utilize the Free Character Transfers. Find another server that is more suited towards your needs and hop on over there.

Curious. During, if ever one occurs, what happens to your characters name? :c I started during head start to get myself character names like Floyd, Lewis, Them, and Annette (all have been leveled to assorted points in game. Furthest being Lewis and Annette.) . And I'd be pretty grouchy losing them, since they are based off RP Characters I have. (on BC PVP server.) (Though, Them is for the lol of "Kick Them, they are a zerker"

There is little if any reason to merge the PvE servers. Even if they are low pop there is still more then enough players to maintain plenty of solid guilds and the LFG system is cross server.
If your looking for more people for global chat or to see bodies in town run by while your crafting then I'd suggest ya take some time away from Tera and perhaps attending a good sporting event.
As long as your in a good guild I really don't see the point of packing more people into a smaller space.

Well, for reference, when Aion servers merged, all names had a couple of letters appended indicating the source server. So you'd get Cloud-ZK or something. Then you had an opportunity to change it to simply Cloud, and if you did that before a Cloud from the other merged server, Cloud was yours. If not, you had to pick a new name, or could keep your name with the "ZK" appended.

Populated servers are Jagged Coast(PVP), Basilisk Crag(PVP), Valley of Titans(PVP), Celestial Hills(RP), Dragonfall(PVE).
The rest seem to lack players, they aren't empty by any means(SWTOR underpopulated servers) but they certainly aren't full of life.
Once again, another publisher fails to grasp the concept of what happens when you use too many sevrers on launch, the queue times for the first week and a half are better than empty servers 2 months in.
I would of had 2 PvP servers, 1 RP PvP, 1RP PvE and 2 PvE servers. Six servers on launch rather than eleven, all six of those servers would still probably look like Valley of Titans right now.
