Hello, I was wondering if it was possible to change the appearance of leather armor, to look like some of the cloth or metal armors?

Im playing an Elin Slayer, and most (if not all) of their armors have these ugly big puffy pants. But Ive looked at the cloth and metal armors, and they look really cool.

I know you can change a armor appearance with a template, but that is just into another armor with puffy pants.

I dont want the stats to change, just the appearance. So again, is it possible to change the look of my leather armor into the look of some metal armor?

As far as I'm aware, you can only remodel armor into armor of the same type. You can make level 10 heavy armor look like level 30 heavy armor[just an example] but you can't mix and match armor types.

Perhaps a turn at High Elf Master Race would be in order? =)

I tease! No, like Tarot said, there's no way to cross 'categories' of armor at present.

I didn expect to, but I was hopeing. That kinda sux. Slayer seems like the most fun class.

If we whine about cross-remodeling long enough they might just add it! Anyone know if we can use actual equipment as template yet? Because the templates are quite limited from what I've seen.
