Hello,

So I live in Denmark and i've been eager to get my hands on TERA, 3 days ago I stumbled upon an email saying I could preorder this sweet piece of *** game and get full access to the closed beta phases, so I thought HELLS YEAHS, ok so now I preordered it from En Masse (from the link in the email I received) setup account details blabla.. picked country: "Denmark" .. moving on..

In the Client it says i'll be able to attend in a closed beta that starts tomorrow 10th of February at 12 PST.. my time zone is CET and i'm a little confused when 12 PST actually is.. furthermore I read somewhere that the EU beta is supposedly at the 17th of February? or am I wrong? Will I even be able to attend in the closed beta starting tomorrow (10th)? I've already downloaded the game and entered it, there's 1 server showing, but it's "unavailable" funnily enough..

Kudos for reading!

First of all, if you pre-ordered from En Masse you'll be playing on the US servers. You will not have access to EU beta or servers in the future. You'll be able to enter all the US closed betas.

Are you positive you want to be playing on the US servers once the game goes live?

12 PST = -8 GMT
so 12 PST = 21:00 where you live :)

Would have been nice to be told about this in the pre-order process, now I've bough a US version and am in the UK, I didn't read anything about this not being able to play on various servers anywhere, where is this information?

It's common sense. En Masse is the North American server operator. Frogster is the European server operator and their website is tera-europe.com

O.o tera-europe.com <-- Leads me back to EN

Does this mean EU will get IP locked from NA or something?

No - they've stated time and time again, NA will have NO IP blocks. Only for the duration of the betas because well.... I don't think I have to explain that :P

If this is true that when pre-ordering from enmasse, it means you will only be able to play on US server, that's a big fail from them to not alert customers about this.

Before they clear this out for us, I will not pre-order anything.
Hope they will make a thread about this to announcment section of the forum.
