The latest patch notes for this weekend's third closed beta test are here!

You will be able to begin the 16.03.06 patch process starting at 12:00PM PST tomorrow (03/08/12), after two hours of server maintenance time. During the maintenance hours from 10:00AM to 12:00PM PST, you won't be able to download or update TERA. We have more details on the CBT3 patch process in our blog post.

If you haven't tried TERA yet, be sure to pre-order for all future beta access! For more information on the specific beta tests, please see our closed beta test page. Remember that this round of beta test starts at 11:00AM PST on Friday to make up for the lost hour due to daylight savings time change.

I was looking at the main site and said wow this wasn't here three seconds ago. Great timing I guess.

Thanks for the update.

I would like to thank EM for starting the beta at 11:00AM on Friday so that we can enjoy the full 60 hours of promised gametime. DST had me worried I would miss an hour!!

We love you guys!

So the punishment for killing players lower level then you, is that you can't go blue again until your infamy points are gone? So basically, you just stay red all the time.. Not sure this will make much of an impact, I can see guilds just being red all the time....You can still go into towns, no restrictions except your always red.... Kinda silly!

Infamy points are a great way to balance open world PVP, well they are on paper anyways. I'm exited to see how the system works in the beta.

"We won't penalize you for being an outlaw (having Infamy Points), but the community may retaliate as it sees fit."

What exactly does that imply? Can I attack a red that is not within my level range without gaining infamy? Can I attack a red without using the 'outlaw" skill?

Either way we will be finding out Friday....

Basically, if you have infamy points, you will remain red until you work off your infamy points. So basically, you will get ganked more.
