If your at war and your lowbies are getting farmed simply make an alt guild they can all switch and join. You can even tell them to leave the guild for the time being...remember at release Guild war declaration will cost way more and it wont happen as much as it does in beta. You guys dont think and its hurting my face when I read all of these complaints...

We're kinda getting twisted up between two different things here.
Let's make sure we're all on the same page because people are replying to the wrong posts.

1. Ganking lowbies in GvG and whether it should reward points or not

Some are arguing that you shouldn't receive a "POINT" for ganking people a certain amount of levels lower than you. To be honest, coming from a player who thinks all PvP is fair PvP, I really don't care either way. If people are worried that their lowbies will be targeted in GvG for points, then maybe they need to think up something new there. However, I will say that regardless of whether I'm rewarded a point for killing lowbies in GvG, I'm still going to do it anyway. War is war. Killing lowbies is the best way to bring out the highbies who have been hiding.

2. Ganking lowbies in GvG and whether you should receive infamy

I completely disagree with this one. You should not get infamy from GvG. It's war. That is all.

I'm pretty sure that attacking civilians would give real-life "infamy", even in wartime.

For the record, those who are complaining about having to 'protect' their lowbies should be shot. You guys are obviously in a guild that has absolutely no respect for each other. This usually happens in new guilds and guilds that invite anyone in by mass spamming chat channels in-game. Go and find yourself a guild that has a tight-knit playerbase where you learn how each other play and actually respect the people you play with and are willing to stop what you're doing to assist them because you know the favour will always be returned.

How many civilians do you think the United States and Great Britain killed during World War II with their excessive bombing of places like Berlin? Is it ever spoken about? No.

Er... yes, actually. And how about, say, Hiroshima or the Blitz? Not to mention that you're acting as if people would be talking about events that happens generations previously - there's always plenty of news coverage whenever a soldier or police officer is suspected of killing a defenseless civilian.

A captain is not inherently more capable of defending himself than a private. Nor can you win a war against someone who has legions of tank battalions by solely attacking training camps.

And if "It's war" is a justification for something, where else but real life can we get our definition of what "It's war" means?
