I've started playing today and I've been using the Keyboard since I don't have a Gamepad controller or anything but I've been very curious of how the game plays out on one. Has anyone played on a controller yet and how does it feel ? Is it hard to get through menus on the controller ? I would love to use one but if its going to be too difficult I would rather stick to my Keyboard and Mouse.
I am donwloading the game now and I have an xbox controller for my PC, I will let ya know how it goes, im pretty excited to be able to use it :)

I personally play PC games because I like to play with the K&M. If I wanted to play games with a gamepad then I would stick to console games. Ever since I have converted to PC gaming, I have falling in love with the feeling of having a K&M in my hand. I feel that you have more control and you are also able execute abilities more quickly using a K&M over a lamepad......I mean, gamepad. Sorry about that, force of habit. :-)

im curious as well. i was thinking it would require too many keybinds, but if you can use the L/R keys as modifiers that could work quite well. i may try it when i get home

I really want to know how you can do that. I've seen software for xbox controllers so they can work on your computer but how exactly do you do that. Can you shed some light on that for me ?

The only this is that TERA isn't out on consoles. Haha. Trust me I would rather play in on a console then PC but I don't really get a choice. But Keyboards and Mouse aren't bad either. I've played many upon many of MMO's so I'm perfectly comfortable with it, but given a choice I will always pick the controller, just easier for me overall. But its all a matter of opinion.

played with both, though I havent played with a controller since CBT5 but I found mousing your camera was much more efficient than the controller turn ratio is better controller felt a lot like keyboard turning. though hotkeys might be places better with a controller if you don't have a gamepad or some kind of multibutton mouse.

The controller came with a USB device that is like the wireless access point, so you can just use that and any xbox controller will link up with it for the computer, I played final fantasy 11 with it and it was pretty good, I am thinking its gonna be perfect for this game.

Whenever I plug it in to my comp it won't install the drivers automatically and I have a legit version on Windows 7 Professional. It will recognize the device but it won't let me use it for any of my games on the PC. Its a pain sometimes because the controller even looks on but nothing will work on it. I've been thinkin about getting a gamepad anyways.
