HAHA Nope.

I have opened six "Coveted Mystic Glyph Boxes" and have received six glyphs. They were all ToT (so far) and two were duplicates.
I am not level 58, so I will not be able to use them for some time, but it will save me from grinding for a long time.

opened 10 and got my rain of arrows 40% speed glyph which would have cost me 15k worth of tokens or idk two weeks worth of grinding or some shiz. i find that place painful, but i'm always bging so i had a ton of spare credits. gunna try opening some on my mystic, 30% vitae helps a lot.

These boxes only give glyphs, no alks or other extras.

They cost 700 BG points but give only glyphs, no MES or a bunch of Alkahest or other random stuff like from Sirjuka / ToT boxes.

I opened tons (like 30) and maybe it was just my luck but rate of SG glyphs from them is quite high. I got all 5 SG glyphs from these boxes with about 7-8 duplicates. After that I farmed / bought some practicum / dire badges to finish ToT glyphs because I had only around 7 of them and there's way more than from SG.

^ that's for my alt, my main had glyphs maxed long before this update.

... get them while they are still at 700 credits. KTERA has them for 1400 granted you can get more credits in their Corsairs, may as well get the glyphs you can now.

I stopped buying them the moment I realized they can yield duplicated Glyphs that you already got from previous boxes, therefor making you lose 700 BG credits for no reason other than being a reputation credits sink, which is nonsensical to me.

There's Gold sinks out there but reputation credits sinks? Why? They should give Glyphs that you never found until you find them all, period. Now it's basically a gamble, you buy one and you cross your finger you haven't just lost 700 credits and possibly hours worth of wasted Corsair's (and if you have multiple failures in a row God knows how long it takes to get 700 credits).

So what I recommend is the following, to anyone new to the Bellicarium reputation items. First, accumulate your credits for the Rings, Earrings and Amulet (if you need them that is, obviously). Then perhaps gamble on the Glyphs boxes but only if you're completely certain that you really, really don't mind about losing BG credits at all in case you get duplicates, but first spend them credits on something useful.

700 credits is pretty easy to get... but then again I don't go in there by myself and always with a party.

Much rather do this to get glyphs than spending 15k+ for Silver Talents and /then/ getting duplicates.

Bad thing is... there's nothing else to get with those credits. Fraywind dropped in price and hardly sells anymore, since you'll get more than enough of credits for your alts set just doing dailies (esp with rep boost).
Fodder cost 500-700 credits as well I believe.
And soon it'll be even worse, since federation jewelry is better than BG one, even the solo version of it.

Wish there was something else to get with those credits. SES, MES or something like that.

Got all 5 priest sjg glyphs in 6-7 boxes, all 5 warrior ones in around 10. My berserker isn't as lucky, but then again my priest and warrior had all tot glyphs before I tried with this box while my zerk had to start from scratch.
