Ok, so here is the idea:

A zone that any player from any server can go into. It would consist of a roman-type coliseum with about 20 or so sub-rings for combat.

OW-PVP off in this zone.

Healing is self-only in this zone.

The combat rings could not be entered except by combatants and would have collision on.

Once in zone, you could queue to fight an ~on level player.

Put in optional rules, such as : No Items, time limit, first blood wins, etc.

All queued fights would show up on a board with some basic player info: class, gear level, pvp record. So you could see who's fighting and head out ringside to see the ones you want.

Zone could have rankings, where you get higher by challenging others with a better record.


Answer to "Why not just roll on a pvp server ? " -- This is for 1v1 dueling and an attempt to improve combat skill, not jumpin' folks in the forest.

Largescale pvp scenarios such as this seem awesome but I am positive would be hard to implement. The balancing of the game is probably not complete & the amount of players who are playing the game probably is not steady yet. With this being said, I think an arena system cross server would be awesome and really break this games end game pvp system away from the masses.
One thing I would personally like to see, is some type of objective pvp game in Tera. A plots or capture the flag would open up the opportunity for new beautiful zones for gameplay and some different teamwork based on the ease of escape you see exclusively in this game.
