So I searched and searched but never found a definate answer.

I see alot of posts mentioning things, or hinting, at using more than 1 of the same time of drystal. aka a bunch of HP Regen ones.

However didn't the crystals say can only use 1 of a certain kind?

Some do, some don't, the ones that don't specifically say they don't stack, stack.

Only certain crystals can't be stacked. Crystals such as +8 movement during combat.

You just have to read the crystals and it will tell you whether they can be stacked or not.

HP/MP regen crystals can be stacked.

Most of the Defense, HP, MP, HP Regen and MP Regen ones stack, the only ones that don't are the damage and movement ones.

I think there are more that dont allow to stack then those that do.

Even then some of the damage ones stack.

Same with the crit damage when attacking from behind with crit damage to bosses/normal/etc when attacking from behind. You can get over 400% (200% innate + crystals) critical damage.
