GM Miggity.Miles: Crystals sometimes break in fight, it's not just if you die. I have had my warriors crystal break because I got close to death.
mandokun .: I've never heard of them dying if you get close to dying

GM Miggity.Miles: They do, it is as intended. It is random and doesn't happen as often as they do if die, but it does happen.
mandokun .: I've never heard of this because I'm pretty sure they don't break in pvp when the enemy is outlaw.

GM Miggity.Miles: It is completely random. There is no.36 break/not break ratio. We have no control over the breaking of crystals, no matter how it happens.

mandokun .: However when close to dying I'm like 100% that is false

GM Miggity.Miles: No, random in battle as well. It is just more rare then dying and losing them. And yes, NA TERA is not the same as K TERA.


So... what crystals break when close to death? Pretty sure not... or lancers would have raged a few times about now.

That would actually explain a lot. I was wondering why I was missing crystals after a couple of BAM fights where I had my HP dangerously low. Mind you this was spread across 3 characters and only happened less than a handful of times, but I guess it's there!

Stop getting info from GMs. They are wrong 99% of the time and should never be used for information.

I know, I was trying to talk to the GM about a crystal that broke when people flagged on me and not the other way around because I know it shouldn't do that.

The response made me WTF too much I had to post. If the GM is right then surely others would have noticed and complained by now right?

If this is true .. I'm lodging a complaint :(
