what zones currently have weather? I saw you could turn it on or off in the options. Never got to a zone with weather yet though.

Yay! it would be a nice addition, but as some people have already stated it doesnt necessarily fit into lore. i mean it COULD if the designers allowed it, but they dont have too therefore dont have to make the cycles. upsetting, but understandable.


So... the world doesn't rotate in the lore? *head explodes*

ya, some zones have rain and fog, some have snow... pretty sure the desert where the elf city is has sand that blows around all over the place.

its all a dream, and in that dream each area has a specific appearance and "attitude." so to keep it that way the weather doesnt change and the night/day cycle doesnt necessarily apply.

im not saying it couldnt apply, as i said it could easily be applied, but it isnt necessary so i doubt EME will add all this in.

and no, i guess the world doesnt necessarily rotate lol

P.S. i guess i should have specified that these are speculations as to why it is the way it is in-game, im not saying this is fact :P

The world HAD a sun until Karas blocked it with a curse. Now Arborea has Balder's eyes to light it. Even still, I'm sure the world realistically has weather and day/night cycles. The issue is atmosphere: Celestial Hills may look beautiful at night if enough fauna glows, otherwise, it's just really dark, and the dry feeling it gives off currently I feel would be completely lost, but I only have the difference of Day and Night in Westfall to go off of. Day Westfall looked dry and hot. Night Westfall, not so much.

While I wouldn't mind cycles, I don't mind not having them. If nothing else, I feel at least the capitol cities could use cycles, simply because the only atmosphere they bring to the table is their culture. I'd love to see Velika's window lit at the midnight hour.
