Day/Night In-game

Will the game have day time and night time within every part of the world or is it just zone restricted?(Like it's always day time in Velika). Not sure if we will get that, or if K-tera had anything to say about it. Small question, not game breaking of course.

Zone-restricted. Lore-wise there is no actual sun.

Considering the story backdrop is that the world is a dream shared by two titans, areas have sunlight and darkness set not by chronology but by context.

Oh I see, that's actually pretty cool. Seems to put more emphasis on the fantasy visual aspect for this game, thank you for the responses :)

although not having day-night you could add some weather like
rain/
thunder storm/
tornado/sandstorm not the small ones around CR thats not really appealing/
high tide near the beach/
bug outbreak/
even a forest fire lol

How are you going to have high tide without a moon?

And there is rain.

Arborea had a sun, then Karas blotted it out.

His son Balder sacrificed his own sight so that the world could see, thus Arborea now has twin suns... sort of kind of.

Lore wise, Arborea would still have a day/night cycle and weather patterns. For the purpose of conveying a specific atmosphere in each zone, BHS has left everything static. You think you'd notice...

In my opinion, unless it actually gets dark and not just swathes everything over in a dull, blue hue, a day/night cycle is pretty much barely noticeable.

You just need to turn it on in the Video settings. It's one of the check boxes.

Not only is there no "sun," there are TWO of those floating runic spheres in the sky lore-wise.
