Decent system, 25FPS on lowest.

I can run Skyrim and BF3 on high settings with 50-60 FPS steadily, but I can't run Tera on lowest settings?

I contacted two GMs, completely useless. They suggested stupid crud like turning background programs off.

After suggesting stupid crud, they proceeded to say "I'm not that tech savvy, sorry I can't help."

25 FPS is either at low or high settings. I can't get the FPS to go above 30, it's locked even with Vsync turned off in S1Engine.

25 FPS is OK, but when it falls to 15 due to seeing a lot of players or turning in detailed scenery it's debilitating.

Does anyone have any suggestions or even know a fix?

That system should get TERA up to 30 to 40 FPS but TERA's graphics system was coded by a potato. I'm using crossfire.




50/50 chance here but which one am I using Crossfire on?

Is there an Nvidia 6870? I'm sorry.. ATI Radean 6870

AMD quad core 3.5ghz.

I thought so too Crazed. It seemed absolutely fine during open beta, maybe just less people? Or maybe my excitement made me ignore the visible slowdowns.

Crossfire makes no difference!? Blasphemy!

I'm not sure what you want, do yo uwant my motherboard?? I don't even remember what that's called, I'll have to look it up if you need it.

My Best Guess:

AMD Phenom II X4 970
AMD Graphics Card 6870
Power Supply 800w PSU
8 Gigs or more of RAM.

This Computer should get 30~40 FPS in TERA on highest.

It's not TERA's graphics that were coded by a potato, it's the NA client. I played in KTera with the same PC i'm using now and had 50-60 FPS with Medium settings. Now, with the NA Client I run sub-20FPS on lowest.
