-- I preordered the game, played around in the CBT test. That was enough to get me to order the digital collector's edition directly from Enmasse. I had zero problems going from preorder to collector's edition.

-- During OBT and head start, I had no problems logging on to the server. In OBT I got the name of the character I wanted. In head start I grabbed the names of 6 alts that I may or may not play someday.

-- I've seen no problems with my account. I received the 30-day free play time as advertised. I got all my preorder and collector's edition items as promised.

-- At first my video card was running super hot. Investigation led me to discover that the auxiliary fan power on my MB (powering 3x180cm fans) was dead and the fans were off. I switched to another power connection and I run relatively cool now. Graphics are 5 out of 6 (GeForce 470 atm) and everything runs smooth as silk.

-- I've play the game a lot (too much, in fact) in the evenings and the weekends. The Frost Reach server has been very stable. A few restarts for maintenance and one crash I can recall. Other than that, if I want to play, the server's been up and running.

-- My main is a warrior tank. I was initially very worried about not being able to queue using the IMS. But I've found the (Frost Reach) community very open to the idea of a warrior tank. I've gotten almost nothing but compliments and friend invites after tanking an instance with PUGs.

-- I've played several alts. The IMS has worked fine. Queue times were kinda long but no longer than 30 min. I've never not had the IMS group leader set the loot rules improperly or abuse that power. I've never been kicked from the group because of armor type choice or any other reason. I've never seen anyone kicked other than for going AFK or for D/C.

-- On launch I saw gold seller spam way too often. I don't know what has changed but I only see spam in LFG channel maybe once every two days now. I still hate it but it is pretty easy to report and block.

-- People complain the game has been "censored" for the western audience. I run around and see nothing but boobs and panties. Graphics are outright gorgeous--and I mean all of the graphics, not the T&A stuff.

It's not like there aren't things I want to see change with Tera. I want the QoA part 2 patch now. I want more content released--crafting quests, battlegrounds, nexus, more dungeons. I've read that Asian cultures don't value story as much as western cultures and the story quests in the game show that--they just aren't very compelling or coherent. Almost all of it could be summarized with "Bad things are happening. Go be the hero and become honorable."

But I read these forums and see compliant after complaint after complaint and wonder if I'm even playing the same game.

I'm with the OP. While "everyone" was having some kind of issue or another, it's been nothing but smooth sailing for me.

Well, back to the game.

Only gripe I have is when I put "something" in quotations ( see what I did there? ;) ) ... It completely nullifies what you attempted to say. That and the annoying chat filter. Otherwise I like the game a lot. :)

I also agree with what you've mentioned regarding the areas that are still in need of some attention. I too would love to see a little more depth in the story lines. I have heard some pretty hefty complaints about crafting and associated drop rates, and I sincerely miss the duplication boxes, eggs, and especially the pets.

Otherwise, I'm really enjoying this game, and I'm glad to see that at least some of the members of our forum community are taking the time to say something both positive and constructive. Nicely done OP, and EME

Oh. I'd like to see pets put back into the game. Not just any pets either. Cat related pets. Miniature lions would suffice. Armor on them too ... yes ... armored miniature war tigers and lions. <-- Win.

I mostly complain when I'm at work. When I'm at home, my experience is a lot like that of the OP.

I do wish they'd get their act together with respect to communication about matters raised by customers like removal of game elements, LFD issues, and their still-not-implemented subscription management system.

Companies have learned to never, ever discuss details of things they are still working on beyond vague hints. They know that the community will turn it around back on them if it's not 100% how they say and working perfectly.
