Cancelling a preorder before playing the beta (of which you are guaranteed access to) seems kind of short sited. You can't really compare TERA to GW2 yet, unless you've already had a chance to play GW2 for at least a few hours.

On a side note, if you ordered GW2 through their website, it's a prepurchase rather than a preorder and it's not refundable. Basically, you can't cancel it, you already bought the game.

Typical NCsoft.. why I won't even bother with GW2....

*shakes his head* You guys should really not fall for that sh^t...

I never had any interest in GW2, I cant stand the auto-lock on targeting. Diablo 3 on the other hand has always and will continue to be my number 1 game. The Diablo Franchise is my favorite gaming franchise of all time, and although TERA is an amazing game, Diablo 3 will take up most of my time come May 15th. TERA, Diablo 3 and Legend of Grimlock currently have my interest/time invested into them.

Anyone that thinks questing is the key to a good mmo never hit 50 in swtor.

Seriously. SWTOR was fun as you leveled up. Quests all included cut scenes with decent voice actors speaking all the dialog, you could make choices and effect the outcome of the quest. Lots of fun if you were a Star Wars fan and actually interested in the stories. Sure some were lame, but the bulk of the stories in the quests were entertaining.

But then you hit cap level, and there wasn't jack to do. PvP was repetitive and boring. HM operations, the couple that there were, had week long lock outs. Absolutely nothing for end game.

Standard tab target combat with no real end game content. But hey, at least the 1 week to lvl 1 to 49 was fun. lol

I want to know why all these losers are here on a Tera form [filtered]ing about how much better GW2 is than Tera. If that were the case then why are you here gloating when you could be playing the [filtered] [filtered] [filtered] game? Funny thing is, I don't think anyone from Tera has gone to GW2 forums to gloat about Tera... stay classy, little boys. Come back when your testicles drop, mmkay?

lol, I was never mad in the first place. I'm actually laughing behind my keyboard. The illogic behind GW fanboys is amazingly cliche and even remotely amusing.

freakin really? how many people are still confused or mislead about whos developing GW2?

do you make these assumptions yourself or have you heard them from other haters in these forums?

so again, i repeat, NCsoft IS NOT MAKING GW2! they dont have anything to do with the game, they only gave Anet money to get it started, and yeah maybe theyll get some cash from GW2 sales, but they got money from TERA as well (in a much more assholish way ofc), but GW2 IS NOT AN NCSOFT GAME.

end of story.

ArenaNet is a video game developer and part of NCsoft Corporation, founded in 2000 by Mike O'Brien, Patrick Wyatt and Jeff Strain and located in Bellevue, Washington. They are the developers of the episodic Competitive online role-playing game series Guild Wars.
The founders of ArenaNet were former employees of Blizzard Entertainment who played important roles in developing the highly successful video games Warcraft, StarCraft, Diablo, Diablo II, and the Battle.net gaming network. Their new studio was briefly called Triforge, Inc.[4] before changing its name to ArenaNet and being acquired by NCsoft.

On 10 September 2008, NCsoft announced that all their North American and European subsidiaries, including ArenaNet, were to be governed by a new division named NC West (a tentative name), headquartered in Seattle, Washington.[5] ArenaNet will no longer report directly to NCsoft Korea.[6] Three of ArenaNet's executives left ArenaNet to assume leadership positions in this new organization: Chris Chung became its CEO, Jeff Strain its president, and Patrick Wyatt its CTO. Guild Wars 2 will continue under the direction of Mike O'Brien, who remains at ArenaNet.[6] In August 2009, Jeff Strain quit and later announced he was forming a new game company.

PS: Couldn't care less about D3, Torchlight 2 is way better in almost every aspect in my opinion. Also I'll start playing GW2 again when their graphics/animations/combat stops looking like it was made by Nexon or Perfect World.

Wow, that's funny... You can go to the NCsoft site, and click the drop down for games, and low and behold,(GASP) GW2, and when you click that, you go to the site they have for GW2, then there you can click a link to take you to the official website, and scroll down and (GASP) what does that say? NCsoft... So for not having anything to do with the game, they get to put their name on the official site for the game...Odd.
