Every game on open world PvP servers have different siZe ganking groups. unless you are planning to be a part of the ganking group do yourself a favor - roll on PvE server. It sounds exciting first to get on PvP server and cross your swords with other players anywhere you go, be under a stress of imminent death no matter where you go. unfortunately in real world its not as fun. What will en many times is that PvP guilds will do a group roam to just kill poor [filtered]s who thinks that OWPvP server is for those who wants adrenaline rush.

95% of time you will simply be ganked by at least two other players. and this will continue until you get frustrated enough to give up and roll on PvE server and finally enjoy the game. So before you start on "Valley of Titans" on 19th, ask yourself a question again - if you are joining this server solo will you enjoy being constantly killed by gankers or would you rather not waste that time and just roll on PvE server...

Just a friendly advise so that after being ganked constantly you dont have to come to forums and cry how unfair is your life on VoT :P.

Sometimes i do. Self-criticism is a healthy way of acknowledging your own mistaked. But this has nothing to do with this post. :P

I used to play mmo when pvp was called "pking" these days all games have changed and cater towards more of your crowd who is scared of a little pain even the death penalty for character death is aboslutely carebeared.

I long for the past... those days when "Tibia" first started, if someone pk you or you pk someone the person dead have their character deleted with everything dropped... then it was real now games are cater towards your way people who are scared of the smallest pain...

Normally I would say its everyone's choice to do whatever they want, but right now I am pretty sure that most people have NO IDEA what the heck they are getting themselves into.

In Tera OWPVP is Free For All. This means there will ALWAYS be some jerk going to leveling towns and killing everyone before going into hiding and doing it again a little later. It also means you will always get ganged at maxlevel too.

I know that most people who join PvP servers think that they will engage in "spur of the moment" awesome and random PvP battles. That is what happens in games with STRUCTURES PvP. In games like Tera, this will almost NEVER happen. So keep dreaming.

this is only applicable if the ganking group is in a low level zone tbh....

if you see a group of 2 outlaws jumping people around their level, you can technically take them on and defeat them. no-target action combat has its uses~
