Okay so I have been downloading TERA for like 6 hours now and only 45% completed...
Like the speed goes up and down constantly.. One second its 1000-800kb/s and then another 150-250kb/s..
Getting kinda annoying as i really wanna play it today :/.. Also i turn off P2P. Any suggestions??
Upgrade from dial-up?
Kidding kidding, try turning P2P back on and see if that speeds it up.
it took me a day to download the client. and yes, i had the same problem as you. my download speed is usually quite fast, but it was so unstable moving from 150kb to 850 or 900kb. I tried everything to try and make it faster, but all you can really do is wait. I took a nap for an hour or two and WHAM i was at 33%...
lol, took me 3 and a half days to download, but i'm not complaining so long as i get to play!!!! no i don't have dial up, just the world's worst internet provider ever!! i would change but i live in the middle of nowhere and my only other option is satelite and it sucks worst so yea... Can't wait for CBT :3
I turned P2P off right away before i started downloading and it only took me an hour and a half to download everything
I have the same issue with P2P programs. Just turn off P2P in the launcher and you should be fine and enjoying Tera at 3:00PM eastern
i gotta wait til i get off work to play anyways so gonna miss 5 hours of cbt, i am sure there are a lot of ppl in the same situation. at least we get all weekend, i gotta work sunday too tho :/ oh well, still ultra super happy i get to play :D
LOl glad I downloaded it on the first day it was able to be downloaded. But to be honest that's not bad at all man I know people to where it took 2 days to download. On the plus side the servers are still down :)
