I started downloading the beta last night, at around 11pm EST. I went to sleep, and it said it would be down in 50 minutes. I was downloading at around 7 MB/Sec.... I wake up, I am now downloading at 39 KB/Sec and it says it will take 5 DAYS to finish downloading. What gives? In that amount of time, I wont be playing any sort of BETA AT ALL!?

Is there a mirror or something I can download from? I dont understand how it dropped from 7 MB/Sec down to this garbage.

I do not have a download limit at all. Ugh...

Sir, I had the same problem yesterday, having starting early morning and was still downloading late into the after noon with 6 days to go. What I did was go into the launcher setting under the play button and turned off P2P Sharing. It raised my download speed by quite a bit and was completed by the end of the day. Hope this helps.

Try switching off P2P

Try turning off P2p under launcher settings it will help. But it still took me 3 days of non stop downloading to finish.

Omg, thank you guys so much. Just turned off P2P and it skyrocketed. Download will be complete in 22 minutes. I am crushing at 8 MB/Sec now. Why does that do that? I am not internet savvy, anyone know why that hurts download speed so much?

Because the P2P mean if more players r on, your speed will be crazy otherwise is just terrible like dial up.

cause US servers sucks. Eu much better.

Hehe nice to make plp laugh. But Eu has better connections overall. Much plp complaing about the downloading speed here so it must be something.
