Dungeon Experience - The Price of Being Honest.

This is to all you Elitists out there. Yeah you. You're not special. You're beneath me. It's a video game.

To the point -

I was kicked from my first dungeon last night for saying, "Hi guys, I've never done this dungeon before." After 30 seconds of silence, I get an apology from some snot nosed kid, saying "We need someone that knows what they're doing." and I then I'm teleported back to base.

After sitting in queue for 3 hours, hoping to get to some level 60 gear, this happens.

Lesson learned A-holes. Lesson learned. I will NEVER announce up front, that I've no experience doing something in hopes that I WIPE THE WHOLE group. I WILL WASTE YOUR TIME, YOUR GOLD. I will relish in this enjoyment. You deserve so much more.

I encourage everyone to do the same and shove it in their faces.

I truly wish there was a way to take all these kids and put them on a server all to their own so they could kick each other all day and get absolutely no where.

Again, DO NOT ANNOUNCE TO THE GROUP THAT YOU'VE NEVER DONE A CERTAIN DUNGEON. You'll get kicked (Usually by the bads on VoT, who couldn't tank a Sloth) and 3 hours of your life wasted.

You've been warned.

So....people didn't want to carry you through a level 60 dungeon and this is somehow their fault?

I used the dungeon finder. The "Special Players" should have their own elite dps on stand by at 3 am. Next.

Or, they wiped 3 times already due to players not having any idea of what to do and standing in the fire and they didn't want to wipe again and lose more crystals?

If anything, you should have the "special players" to learn with(aka a guild) and not make 4 other people suffer while you learn.

So? welcome to Korea. We all deal with the same overboard penalties. If you're elite you don't use the lowly dungeon finder.

Those 4 other people suffered 7 days ago, they'll be fine. I bet the sun will come up in the morning will it not? OH wait, they've been level 60 HOURS longer than me.. JFC. lol

There is no valid counter-argument here. None.

It's wrong to kick and the kicker should have a week CD on the dungeon. lolol. Oh the joy.

Personally, I am willing to group with someone who hasn't been in a dungeon before. I'd honestly rather they tell me up front though, so I CAN help. Everyone has to learn sometime!

But I also personally make sure I have done my homework before I attempt a new dungeon too. I read walkthroughs or watch videos, at least something to make sure I am aware of anything particular that occurs that might make me a liability to my group if I don't know about it.

I get that some people just don't want to hold another player's hand through something, or risk the group wiping because someone doesn't know what they're doing. It's not my style to just boot them, but I also realize that other people aren't as patient as I am. Gamers gonna be gamers.

Lol - "People from VoT suck" has been the consensus from my guildies as well who have used the dungeon finder. :(

How is he supposed to learn and get better then if he can't play? If you're so concerned about getting the best players run with your guild. In a random group finder beggars can't be choosers. It's just people being [filtered]s if they kick a guy before he gets a chance to show how good he is.
