so i queue as a dps because i cannot queue as a tank (warrior). get into a BT group on the last boss(which is already retarded, i should have an option to only join groups that are not started).

but anyway, i get in and am now on the cooldown, even though i have not done a single thing inside the dungeon. they ask me what my gear level is... which is 138... easily high enough to clear the dungeon, as i have cleared it several times already. and they kick me instantly.

Now, not only do i have my dungeon cooldown after being kicked immediately after joining, but im also out in the middle of nowhere... on the opposite side of the map from where i was.

PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS MMOs... FIX THIS [filtered].

The LFD in general seems to take on the assumption that players in TERA are fair, empathetic, and respectable human beings. As a Lancer I'm mitigated by the worst of the LFD players. I'm only in my mid 40s running NT but I always check "Willing to lead group" and I've seen a wide range of players, from good and bad, loud and obnoxious to silently calm.

I have seen players drop the group based on the group makeup and threaten to kick members if they had leader rights. I'd imagine the scrutiny players place on one another will become more widespread near end game as people attempt to min/max their dungeon runs and increase their chance to obtain loot by kicking or walking away from a group.

The DEVs can't hope or expect to adjust the community attitude but they certainly could tighten up on the frustrations and pitfalls that LFD can allow douchebag players to abuse. Maybe a dialogue that would inform you that the group its placing you into has already cleared atleast one boss and you're given the option to join or stay in queue until a it can place you into a "normal" group.

The kicking part is a tougher issue, total removal of kick fixes the abuse but then you're now stuck unable to kick afkers and people who purposely try to ruin the dungeon run. I believe current system is by majority.

Teleporting you back to where you were prior to entering the dungeon via LFD warp would be GREAT to have. Many games with a LFD system do just that, I hope one day TERA mimics those games' LFD return.

But in all honesty most of my LFD group runs are fairly pleasant and drama free.

I think the whole kicking part is really really bad for certian classes. Nothing better then joining a fane run after a 2 1/2 hour que wait just to be kicked 5 seconds into joining the group simply becuase im a zerker. No comments, no questions, just auto kicked. That was the first time, and its been happening atleast 3 times a day.

It's sad that this has to happen...

It's not even TERAs fault, they didn't expect human being to be such dicks. I don't think i've ever kicked someone from a dungeon group in my MMO career.

Zerkers and archers get it bad...but zerk and archers are getting a dps boost in KTERA apparently, so let's all be patient. <3

i know what you mean... the only time ive ever kicked someone from a dungeon was if they were purposely wiping us.

If you don't like the dungeon finder don't use it. If you really wanted to tank, which I doubt you did, you could have built your own party in about 10 seconds with area chat. As a lancer that could have instant qeues I do this all the time as I have little desire to be magically stuck with true randoms. A i138 warrior isn't terribly helpful on that boss so you probably should have left that part out. If I had a gold every time I heard a DPS tell me "oh yeah I've done this boss tons of times" when they actually hadn't I would be rich. The ONLY thing I agree with from your post is that you shouldn't be stuck in an already going group with an instance lock system like they have.

Who cares. Game allows him to queue, obviously the DESIGNERS think it's good enough.

You pretty much covered everything. A lot of good suggestions.

Obviously the group. Since you know, they wanted to kill the boss. Next.

Take your entitled, bull[filtered], narcissistic troll [filtered] internet attitude to a place that gives a [filtered]. The game is designed with gear level in mind. He passed. The group waited for a dps just to be a bunch of jerks to the one they got knowing the queue times and the CD he would get and not giving a [filtered] because they sound just like you; a self centered jack [filtered].
