Dafuq?

My guild members and i just got squashed 3 times in a row. And finally after third time we quit.

Are there some useful guides on how to get rid of those freaking adds? It gets impossible after 40% to keep up killing them....

Heard some say ignore adds after 20%, some say after 30% , some say after 10....
Ive heard u can dodge the adds by running in other room?

Actually he is helping. Just have to read between the lines.

They need more practice. Its called Hard Mode for a reason. Its not meant to be easy. My only suggestion is to get better gear and keep trying. Find the faults that people are doing and improve them, its a game based on skill, and if you are dying over and over, then you have to improved said skill.

That's not helping at all. Telling someone they need to improve without giving constructive reasons how is just about as helpful as laughing at them.

The fight is very similar to normal mode, but more adds. Keep killing adds until boss is at 30%, then focus just on the boss.


One of the biggest issues with Ebon Tower is the fact the repeat quest to obtain Protective Totems doesn't appear to be in the game.

The Protective Totems clear an area of the poison spewing mobs that just sit on the ground. Very helpful.

Did most of you even do this instance lol? You need 2 dps preferably 1 melee at least to drop the adds asap. use stuns to stop them and just kill them and back on boss. You continue this until 10% not before. At 10% he summons adds so fast its pointless to try to kill them. If you stop killing adds prior to 10% you will end up with so many that you will be overrun. Ignore the poison stuff on the ground, if you have a sorc their aoe attacks will drop the ones around the boss. Just don't be a fool and stand it. Pretty easy boss once you get control of the adds

Are you serious, did you not even read what i said?

"Get better gear", "Find the faults that people are doing"

These are reasons. Being as this is a skill based game, and if your leading your group through, you NEED to be asking questions to your party, "What went wrong?" "How did you die?" etc etc, if you're not doing this, you are failing at a party/guild leader. The whole point of hard mode is to work together to accomplish things that are....hard, its the whole point. If you are just throwing yourself into the fight over and over with no discussion, then im sorry, but you are not leader material.
