Elin Hit boxes are smaller...yes they are

Reach vs size of the hit box sounded BS the first time i read. Actual size of the hit box is way more important and matter much more. If they wanted to compensate for size of the hit box they had to give at least 50% less area reach for elin than other classes got. At the moment it is not a case.

Also I've experience my self in close situation where it is possible to ''over-reach' elin which is absolutely lol. Basically elin stands too close to you and by using skill it just passes through her.

umm 40% larger sounds like a number pulled out of someones [filtered]. How did you go about measuring this 40% difference.

Also, with the reach issue, keep in mind that classes that will try to kite have to root to preform skills so that melee classes can chase them down. having an increased reach is going to help you catch that runner faster. Not by a lot but by some.

Officially Hit boxes are the same across races. Personally I've had no problems targeting any enemy players, be they Aman, Popori, or Elin.

No, it's been acknowledged by developers that the hit boxes are different, just not as much as their character sizes would suggest.

On another note, fine equalize the hit boxes. And if I roll an Elin in OBT, I want reduced damage when my health gets down, I want the ability to instantly heal my health or mana, and if I ever die I want my health or mana to quickly max out again upon being rezzed.

I was ingame measuring the hit box of the larger Amani vs ELin. The Elin hit boxes are alot smaller. The Elin hit boxes are larger than their character appearance but they are still smaller than other races. This needs to be fixed as it is a huge disadvantage to other characters.

You do know Elin has the crappiest racials in game? I mean crappiest...

Having a smaller hitbox doesn't sound too bad to offset that.

The statement by devs was made quite awhile ago and made it seem like they were almost the same size, as in not a huge difference. There was even a statement in the class forums from EME stating all hit boxes are the same size.

Oh no. A realistic element has been added to the game. UNBALANCED. Get over it. Not everyone will play Elin and Popori just because they have a smaller hit box. Remember, you didn't miss because the target was too small, you missed because you didn't aim well enough. You didn't get hit because you are too big, you got hit because you didn't move out of the way.
Are you saying that realism justifies stuff? okay then like 80% of the female charecters should die in one hit because their not wearing proper armor.

I wouldn't complain. I'd still play female anyways. The goal to surviving is to not get hit. Whether its 1 hit or 5 hits, it doesn't matter if you play well. I could only blame myself if I die.
Regardless, my point wasn't that it was realistic and therefore okay, it was that YOU are responsible for getting hit, not the hit box. Its just as easy to move out of the way as a Baraka as it is for an Elin. If you can't read the queues, don't begin to move early enough, and get hit, that's your fault.

1 of the 2 races with no in combat racials being smaller and in turn harder to hit? Won't be fair unless everybody chooses Human Males, bring it back to Halo 1 days.
