I just wanted to share my first impressions of the company and my slight irritation with the way things have been, ALREADY.

Firstly, I wasn't really sure on Tera, but they were smart releasing it before GW2/D3 or else I probably wouldn't have bought it, but I have been enjoying it. However,

I blow 60$ on the digital collector's. No biggy, but immediately it's harassing me to set up a subscription. At which point, it tells me, there is no way to cancel a subscription at this time, I'm one of those people who doesn't like auto-renewing and always cancels every month.

You're telling me, that you released a MMORPG, with modern technology and all the bells and whistles, but couldn't get a subscription system set up? Heres the kicker.

Next day, I work 12 hours, get off work excited to play. "No subscription found something. blah blah something" and I guess it was a problem for hundreds of people.

So then, I spend an hour of my night trying to get the damn subscription set up AGAIN and accept it, finally after 5 tries with paypal, I switched to my C.C. and it worked. But I remember thinking.

"I just gave you 60$ for a game I've played for a whole hour, and have been told I can't even cancel a subscription in the year 2012. And now you're sitting here making me mess around with your subscription system for an hour, not even able to play the game."

Well En Masse, you've made it very clear within the first 24 hours, you want your money.

You better put out one hell of a product then.

Every MMO that is P2P has you setup a subscription.

Yeah, they've had some problems... what MMO hasn't?

Man chill out. that's a bug issue they're having. No one would do that on purpose. everyone Knows it's like asking customers to leave.
They're trying to solve that issue. Our guild had some ppl affected by that error, and they got a fix through customer service. A temporary fix thou.

En masse is a new company and that's the 1st game launch they did (dunno if there will be another one) it's expected to run on some rocks in the way. No one ever imagined it being one that would affect ppl in their pockets but still. try no to take it personal. it happens. 2,000 accounts got similar issues. You probably already saw that on facebook.
Also i would think it's wiser not to mess with the subscription manager yourself, u can accidentally get billed twice, or never get your 30 days free of charge that you supposedly got once u bought a copy of the game.

Obviously Limonada is not having an issue or he/she would not be posting on these 'Can't log in/EME messed up" threads. EME does not need you running to their defense, they get to bear the weight of this entire mess.

Oh, wait this is their first MMO, ohh, well, then it's okay :P They can p- off as many subs as they want!

you are so mad bro that you are lashing at the wrong person. i'm just trying to calm down some ppl. 2 of my playmates are stuck with the error. But posting only the rage here won't help anyone if the information is not helpful at all.
I was actually saying how to get a temporary fix for him. If you got the same error, u may try as well. my two friends got 30 days on their account til the issue is solved.
i'm not a rly hardcore gamer u know, so i obviously am not that bothered, i have other hobbies too. Also have these friends of mine. That doesn't excuse en masse nor makes everything perfect. i just don't think you should be raging at it. if you're rly mad u can always ask your money bk.

everyone got surprised how they let a bug affect the account mechanics. it's the money giving in any p2p mmorpg, and the thing that can piss ppl of more than anything. it's not a ingame bug that can wait a fix in the next patch. I know it.

just don't rage at me. i'm trying to be peaceful here.

Just chill out.. the game will be around for years. They are having some issues, customer service will get everything fixed for you. Everyone having the issues doesn't need to create a new topic to rage post... there are existing ones that you can vent in if that's your wish.

Everything will be OK... EME will correct the issue for you, start up a live chat with them.

I actually work like 60 hours a week, so Im not trying to read everything they screw up on Facebook/being informed on all that. I did see others having the issue when I tried/did fix it myself after messing with it.

I'm just saying subscription/billing is a very fundamental thing to have in place before releasing a game they've been advertising for months. I don't normally complain about things like this and after spending over 1,000 $ on MMORPG collector editions/etc Im quite aware you need a sub, but you cant tell me it isn't hilarious they don't even have it cancellable yet.

Come on people, this has been being used since the mid 1990's

I was on the phone for 2 hrs 45 min just now for Enmasse customer support and the phone cut off. I had it ON MY EAR and it just cut off. 2 hrs 45 min wasted -.-

I played the closed betas and I preordered. I have the collector's edition. I have been playing my current character since open beta and looking forward to this game's launch immensely. I couldn't play on the 30th because of the subscription not found error. I spent 3+ hrs in Live Chat queue and got it fixed, then on the 1st my BF had subscription not found error. I had until the 3rd (the day my box copy arrived from Amazon) and I entered the code from the box... And I now have 2 Tera subscriptions - one with my preorder and collector's edition, which is 'subscription not found' AND the box one which has, of course, no characters on it. I suppose I can say goodbye to the lion and start over if I really want to play...

Due to Comcast Maintenance in my area, I was disconnected after 4 hrs on hold and in Live Chat queue last night. And now cut off after 2 hrs 45 min on hold this morning. My patience is wearing thin. At least Comcast gave me a couple days free right away.

Seriously Enmasse, FIX THINGS JEEZ!
