Okay, so, read the new announcement, still have no issue with it. People who run in static groups will be almost undeniably more efficient than people that use the dungeon finder. Also with this system it will HELP THE COMMUNITY, oh yeah, I said it, dungeon finder helping the community. As it is not cross server, with these bonuses it will encourage people to use the finder forcing them to interact with people they wouldn't normally interact with and thus making new social connections.

Infact the only issue I have found with dungeon finder, is from playing KTera and watching some streams, you can be grouped with a guild you are at war with lol. I think it makes it all the more interesting though. And as stated before, non-cross server means more people will meet anyways.
Honestly, with some of the people in here, you'd expect the channel system to be more disruptive to community growth in their eyes.

it will be an issue when the majority of the server population won't care about the server community as they can accomplish everything using a cross server dungeon finder (maybe a cross server BG finder later?)
remember vanilla wow? there were no cross server tools, sometimes we fought in tarren mill for hours, no rewards, just pure fun. then we went to BGs and faced the ruthless premades from the alliance side. good old times. nobody needed a cross server finder tool of any kind. nowadays people expect everything handed to them effortlessly.
oh and don't worry, i'm not playing the US version, i'm just posting here because it's more likely to be read by EME.
in korea the tool might have a purpose, because there is zero pvp anyway, but i was hoping that EME would realize the potential this game has.

In all seriousness, it's a non-issue. EME only localizes what KTera pushes out, with slight modifying here and there. This isn't something they implement just because, it's a global thing so you might as well get use to it.
Community for me was more about who you faced in PVP and BGs anyways. I remember Vanilla WoW and a certain tiny yet deadly gnome I would always encounter. The relationships you make are all up to you, and if you're the OP, possibly the relationships you don't make :D

uhhh, the dungeon FINDER is fine, for people who dont have friends to play with
what we have a problem with, is the fact that they give extra buffs AND increased loot for using it. so nobody will even WANT to play with their friends, as it will be better loot if they just go with random people.
it seems like they are so happy about this new system that they made, that they want to force everyone to use it or be penalized with less loot, and i cannot even imagine what this "buff" they are giving is.

how are you so sure it's not cross server? just because a live chat customer support representative titled with GM (game master) said so? i'm sorry, that is not an official info for me. once i read it in the official announcements section or confirmed by a BLUE on the forum, it's just what a random person "thinks".
it's more likely to be cross server, because it is cross server in korea AT THIS POINT.

You keep thinking it is going to be Cross server, when there have been a few (Unofficial) responses that it is solely server wide. Yes UNOFFICIAL responses! How scary! But you are going off nothing except what you have experienced in WoW which is sad, because Blizz and EME are nothing alike really.
You are trying to incite panic, when really there is nothing to be up in arms about. It's a tool to be used, and is completely optional. Nothing stopping you from grabbing guildies and using it as well, since you are oh so worried about the GIANT bonuses...

It's going to be ok Champ. This is going to be implemented regardless of how much you believe it is going to destroy everything. But from most of the responses in this thread, it's not that big a deal, if anything, everyone is pretty pumped :D
