You obviously accept exploits in the games you play. I do not. Where do you draw the line? What's ok to exploit and what's not ok to exploit? It took me quite a bit of time and effort to get my enchants, which still aren;t all +9 - sorry if I am against someone exploiting to get theirs.
Its not that I accept them but I recognize that with the complexity of today's games they will always exist in some form. I dont think you need a bright line rule per se, the punisent should match the severity of the exploit. Here the exploit does give them an advantage but its not like an instant win button that is unavailable to you for months or years.
You do make a good point here and a page back in that I have no +9 enchants. But I am also not the kind of player who plays to min/max every advantage. I just like playing because it is a GAME. Exploiters dont affect my ability to enjoy it.
EME allows you to group up with a healer friend let your teammates die and not rez them, finish the boss now that he is low on health so they can't roll on loot and then taunt them about it when there class item dropped and won't even ban those exploiters who actually have victims. I highly doubt they will ban anyone for this.
page up roll, page down pass. thats 1 way to take care of that problem for future refernce
Does anyone think this issue will be fixed by tonight ? :/
Hard to say, in theory they already know what the issue is and how the exploit works so it "should" be a quick fix. But in reality, it all depends; could take up to days if we're unlucky.
Though I think they should bring the server down for now and see if they can apply a quick fix and possibly a roll back...

Is this really happening? the player demographic in TERA is really making me question if i want to stay with this game... how is this sort of behavior even remotely acceptable in principle at the player-level is beyond me. it's like TERA attracted the dregs of MMO-demographic, which is already pretty piss-poor to begin with, and made it worse.
As for the OP topic of the exploits, this will be the first true test of EME and their community management skills... let's all hope for the best. I am lol'ing at the sheer number of L60s walking around with full suits of +9 gear today though... wow, people really do look for the path of least resistance to ill-begotten gains, don't they?
The people using this exploit better get banned and/or have their equipment rolled back otherwise I'm quitting.
LOL, I know that sounds childish, but I actually just stopped my auto-renew. I want to see how this pans out. Hopefully they do one or the other, or both.
BTW, off-topic, had to contact live support to get auto-renew to stop. The option through the website doesn't actually do anything.

People, have posted pictures of it happening and the persons wasn't banned. Also, someone posted some pictures of a Lancer holding his group hostage for gold and loot and pictures of the GM saying its ok to do that.
