To start off, this thread is about how the enchanting system and enigmatic systems are failed/annoying systems that either need to be nerfed, editted, or just straight up removed. To start with Enigmatic System.

^Way toooooo complex for something that should be simple. Besides the system being expensive and time consuming (as well as very annoying) it help ruins the fun of getting new gear. I just did a hardmode, got a new weapon, great now I have to go through all this bs to make it better than it is. Was the amount of time it took to do the hardmode, plus the drop rate, plus rolling against other people who need it not enough? Don't get me wrong Enigmas are nice and add a little content to the game and diversity but to make them this complex is just horrible marketing strategy and will cause you to eventually lose players who subscribe, because not only do you have to waste gold and time on this but also enchanting.
The Enchanting System in this game is by far one of the worse I have ever seen. The fact that when you join a random group they use enchanting levels as an indication of how good your gear is. Anyone else see the similarities to gear score here? "Oh he doesn't have a +9, we should remove him.". But when putting that aside, the actual process of enchanting also makes getting new gear far less enjoyable. Get a new weapon, great now I have to spend all this money and time to make it better than it already is. Why not just make the dam weapon that good to begin with? The needing gear of the same tier level is just used as a filler so they don't need to supply more gear content as well as to keep you pre-occupied instead of actual content.
The solution? First, the most logical to me, is to combine them together. Instead of two failed annoying systems, you'd have one. Or edit the enigmatic items to only have to use one type of scroll instead of making people jump through hoops just to identify it. That or remove it. With enchanting they should make it into an actual profession like in WoW, or like runecrafter in Rift. Where it supplies slight bonus's but it is not the be all end all. That way getting new gear does not become a hassle, still costs money to get, still improves your weapon, but won't make or break you. That or, just remove it.

This needs to be fixed or endgame will end be a very small community as soon as people start getting tired and annoyed of these two systems. Make them simpler, there is no need to make such a hassle for people who have already leveled up to 60. "Don't rush to 60" people say, so I didn't, now I get it, you get there and now you have to focus on is BS like this (and reputation dailys -.-)
