Looked for the answer and didn't seem to find it among the mix of Enchantment discussions, so I was wondering if someone can cement what I think the new system does:
The enchantment can not downgrade, but it can still fail, and the cost of attempting an enchantment has increased due to the new tier powder system? ?
uhm, i dont think we entirely know the cost at the moment on the cost.
but the failing part just means +0
they truely are westernizing the game
This is what I'd like to know:
Is this going to be implemented in CBT5? And if so, I already used an identification scroll on some gold gear and +'d it up to +5/+6. Will I be able to reseal this gear and then try to get better stats out of it w/o losing my current +'s? If not, how will this effect a person come Launch?
Has this concern of mine already been addressed? If so please link me where I can find the answer myself.
you can downgrade from a fail (unless there was a ninja patch that I missed)
You can fail:
The fail can bring you from +3 to +2
The fail can just do nothing
The fail is penitently random
Succeeding will always promote you.
From +1 to +6 IIRC, you can use the simple merchant's version of the powder. I believe to achieve +7 and higher you need to get an upgraded source of the powder, though means of the broker system, random drops, or a mischievous box.
You also need higher quality of items:
*All information here is guess work, but it is relatively close
1-3 = whites
5-7 = uncommon
8-10 = rare
11-12 = Legendary
Note: You can use uncommon to legendary to help boost the success rate of getting a pomotion
Yay, now we can make godly weapons the ezmode way, and still try to claim we have the same skill and perseverance as kTera players!
