Then that is an issue that bluehole needs to fix. Who now a days does not have a multi core processor. The fact of that post is that the video load should be shedded to my gpu. as you can see my gpu is at 5%?

On a better note why would this terrible event be pushed out when it is working like crap? If i was bluehole i would be embarrassed.

It isn't their servers nor our computers. Its the chrome texture on the models. It is trying to render all the lights from effects and a natural chrome texture takes much longer to render.

I just wish I can edit it myself or they can add a real texture to the models :(

I've attended the Nexus events multiple times and not once have I experienced noticeable lag. Considering I'm from Aus this is rather surprising and suggests it is more than likely an issue with your computer.

yeah doesn't mater what changes having 500+ people in the same spot on the map all aoeing will lag the game.. Surprised we aren't crashing the servers with the nexus zerg.

Imo the ONLY way to save nexus is to find ways to make it so everyone isn't there all the time.

Imo one way would make it so nexus is still three days but you can only get rewards from 1 a weekend or 2 events total after that you stop getting rewards then scale the rep and coin appropriately. This will thin the zerg out across 3 days and give people a chance to actually do them Then you can start balancing the content around not just being there and have mechanics.

Obviously with the hour limit they would need to rebalance the encounters or rewards to make it so you dont lose out by actually playing the game.

As it is right now there is no reason not to zerg for time wise and the zerg is just embarassing for EME/BHS since you get BIS pvp gear for doing nothing but wasting your time.

Another thing would be to steal rifts raid rift idea and make nexus grinding something along the lines of you get a material with your raid and you spawn a nexus on your own terms and beat it(and it is on a 3 day cooldown or w/e and scale rewards accordingly)

The ONLY way outdoor raiding has ever even remotely worked is when it was exclusive to hardcores. Making outdoor raids for anyone has been the engine failure of every mmo since wow made raiding mainstream.

Nothing epic or cool about zerging down crappy bams @ 1fps and hopinh you can get credit.

Thank God someone said this.

Fix the skins on nexus mobs and watch the tears disappear. My FPS climbs by 15-20 instantly when the mobs are dead, or in between phases. Even with all the sorc's ice on the ground (which is another fps hog), my FPS drops to 1-5 as soon as mobs pop.

Anyway... My suggestion would be to have a quest pop up as soon as you zone into the map, designating 1-3 nexuses in which you can participate. Remove the rewards from all other nexuses except the ones marked for you. Increase the rewards on the nexuses that you do have access to.

Keep them open world, but if you remove the reward for nexuses in which you dont have a quest for, you will diminish the benefit of hundreds zerging around the map.

I'm starting to wonder what exactly EME did besides translate and remove content from KTera. Every aspect including nexus has been a watered down experience from what we had in KTera. It makes no sense why it took so long for EME to release the US version considering they haven't developed anything. Hell, the US servers are also pathetic in comparison to the korean ones. I'll take my 300ms and 80+ fps in nexus over the current 40ms and 5fps any day.

It's the servers, not the hailstorms, or "chrome texture". please.
