I've playing Tera and when I alt tab, I see "Fail to update host", what does this mean? I can still play even though the updater or Tera thing isn't on. :o

Whatever you do DONT close your TERA client. I did and now i am unable to play because it tells me i cant update it.

I'm experiencing the same thing currently. I can't get it to update properly.

Well this is a bit scary.

I'm getting this error as well since the little patch. I play in full screen windowed mode so I can quickly alt-tab out and loiter and in forums or what not.

It closed my launcher, but the client is still running.

Now I'm concerned I'm not going to get to start up again either.

getting the same error:

start tera launcher, log in, patch downloads, splash screen minimizes, wait, installation failure dialog box pops up, click ok, splash screen pops up minimizes installation dialog box pops up rinse repeat.

Had to kill the process using Process Explorer.

Firewall problem?

i had to disable norton firewall and anti virus to get this to work. Also ran it as admin

I'm still playing the game itself, though I did have some errors the very first time and had to reboot the machine. It let me in after that, and I haven't logged out of the game, so I'm not sure what will happen next time I try to play, but the error did close the patcher part down.

And, every time I alt-tab out, I see the error.
