I have noticed people posting that they reached cap in 40-50 hours. Let me first say this is not me. However I have reached lvl 50 and would like to know what is the most time efficent way to level cap. Is it a waste of time to continue clearing all quests in every zone? Should I wait for some friends to catch up and quest grind or dungeon/BAM grind? I play a mystic so solo questing can be a laborous task at times. Thanks for the advice!

Quests. My roommate is 57 and she said she does every quest, literally, and some gathering.

if you want to level quickly... running quests as a group will be the fastest time.

I also have a mystic and it is much better to find a leveling buddy. I usually just press Y and make the message "looking for leveling buddy" and can usually get someone quickly. You'll end up flying through quests.

as a fellow healer I find it best to level while farming for gear (dungeons) they can take some time but you wont be bored at all.
Questing does level you way faster however, but you may need a partner.

usually what I do is:

Run around high lvl areas, areas I feel I can do some quests.
Find a random sorcerer or berzerker, buff them, heal them and toss a party invite.
If they join, WIN. If they don't, go search for another one :p

I'm only 58, but doing this is very efficient and it beats just soloying.

Ok thanks for the input. I was thinking this would be the fastest option for me. I have a friend who is at level and a Lancer who is mid 30's. I will wait for them and 3 man quest grind.

Question: Slow down for BAM quests or throw them aside for quicker easier quests?

Rush your story quests thats all i can say, if your too underlvled then do the quests around where your story quest lead you, otherwize skip a lot of them , most are a huuuge waste of time, especially when you reach elenae, where the mobs take forever to kill and give little reward. At lvl 56 or so im not too sure, you should just rush to argonea or something. Each mob gives 100k exp solo, and rewards are 1-3mil. Therse more than enough quest to get you to lv 70, i do suggest however doing the quest that give you free superior armor, dont haev to do them all but at least do the one that gives you a weapon.

As far as BAM quest goes, its not wroth it unless you have some REAL DPS in your party.
Ive done a few BAM quests at lvl 55ish with a sorc/war (I was priest tank) and it was a breeze.
Took us maybe 5 minutes per BAM. Which is not bad compared to 25 minute solo.

Ok so here is what I'm hearing in regards to leveling efficently:


1) Quest with one or two companions
2) Advance the story Quests (never fall too far behind)
3) Dont waste time with BAMs unless you can down them quickly
4) Drop quests that offer little XP

I do just minimum to follow story quest, when i unlock new story quest i move with it to another area,leaving behind quests. Going to another (new) area means quests with more experience.

Atm im lv 55, from 50-55 it took me day and a half.

On 56 ill get new story quest.
