Okay, so I enjoy the idea of a global LFG chat channel, its a great way to get groups together without using dungeon que and to find people trying to kill same BAMS. However, the community of TERA is not mature enough to use this chat channel. Instantly, trolls all over it. With WoW Trolls, Perverted Elin trolls, people talking in all caps, guild recruitment etc etc. I know this game is rated mature but this is clearly an abuse of the LFG chat channel. Not the literal content of what they are saying but what chat channel they are saying it in. It should be used to find groups, and not as a global troll/guild recruitment chat channel.
This needs to be changed/altered, or En Masse has to become more strict with Silencing people who are abusing chat. Idk bout you but I'm already sick of Isle of Dawn LFG chat.
I totally agree pepperzine i feel it should be a new tab that you can choose to be in, it is very annoying to people who are not immature d-bags like our friend revhead here who is obviously a troll and abuses the system to try to get some cheap laughs by pissing people off. If they made it it's own tab i feel it would fix a lot of these problems and i wouldnt have to deal with all the annoying people like revhead

Typically in most MMOs, the chat channel names merely serve as guidance, and not a hard rule. There's no rule that says anyone has to use the LFG for only finding groups. While I hate spam as much as the next person, there is no way EME can be expected to enforce a non-existent rule.
It should result in them being silenced for 24 hours and not able to chat. That would teach em a lesson. It's 11am, when it is normally troll free and quiet. Now its filled with people who think alienwares are funny... God only knows what its gonna be like at peek hours. I saw people on LFG channel insulting people using it to find a group because they were using the chat for what it was made for. When you accept trolling behavior like this it just breeds more. The only way to curve it is to take it as a serious offense. I don't understand why they wouldn't take it seriously, especially when they are talking negatively about the game you produced in their trolls that are ruining the game that you produced.
