Our party wiped except for 2 people who finished off the boss. Both of us had CD on our rez so the rest of the party had to go back to town. By the time they made it back the loot had dissapeared.... WTF, it was barely 6 mins and loot dissapears? This is the first mmo that I have played to come across this. Leave loot on the ground for atleast 60+mins, there is no reason why it should disappear before all members have a chance to get the item. What if a person dc's for 10 mins? Are they not entitled to loot as well because of Internet problem? Please fix this asap for much less rage. Thankyou
If you're grouping with guildies why not set it so lead gets all the loot or something to that effect? If you died you can sort it out with them once everything is picked up, the time that loot disappears doesn't seem like much of a problem, it's more so your fault or even the healer/tanks fault that you died in the first place.
What you're saying doesnt apply to our situation. It wasn't all guild members just random people. Also the loot that drops in that dungeon is bind on pickup so all 1 person cant pick it up. What happens if a person DC's? Currently they have no solution for that problem. I dont think Enmasse's intention was to punish groups that are having a hard time with a boss like you're suggesting.
It actually feels like the despawn timer on loot in dungeons is shorter than in open world...but that could just be cos the loot is sometimes more important.
I would like to see the despawn timer for loot in dungeons be made longer. If loot is set to not be enabled during battle and you get a pug that goes run run run without giving chance to pickup its a pain. Or just some of those longer boss battles with adds that drop stuff so that it doesnt despawn before the end of the fight (yes not all groups are mega gamers or elite geared :p sometimes things take a lil longer than they should).
