Fix Loot Times in Dungeons

Our party wiped except for 2 people who finished off the boss. Both of us had CD on our rez so the rest of the party had to go back to town. By the time they made it back the loot had dissapeared.... WTF, it was barely 6 mins and loot dissapears? This is the first mmo that I have played to come across this. Leave loot on the ground for atleast 60+mins, there is no reason why it should disappear before all members have a chance to get the item. What if a person dc's for 10 mins? Are they not entitled to loot as well because of Internet problem? Please fix this asap for much less rage. Thankyou

If you're grouping with guildies why not set it so lead gets all the loot or something to that effect? If you died you can sort it out with them once everything is picked up, the time that loot disappears doesn't seem like much of a problem, it's more so your fault or even the healer/tanks fault that you died in the first place.

What you're saying doesnt apply to our situation. It wasn't all guild members just random people. Also the loot that drops in that dungeon is bind on pickup so all 1 person cant pick it up. What happens if a person DC's? Currently they have no solution for that problem. I dont think Enmasse's intention was to punish groups that are having a hard time with a boss like you're suggesting.

I was suggesting that you group with guild members, but I didn't know about the bind on pick-up (I haven't been in any of the 20+ dungeons yet). Also I don't think their trying to punish you or anyone else playing the game if they are having difficulty, I just didn't think the time for loot to disappear was too little but like I said I haven't been in an actual 5party member dungeon yet. Though I don't think increasing the time to get back and get loot would help much, I understand dying and racing back for it, but if someone disconnects it's entirely up to whatever caused the DC in the first place, unless you're suggesting that the loot isn't allowed to disappear inside dungeons because someone could be dealing with internet connection problems or the launcher/client bugging out.

Please don't blame people on a bad ingame design problem, specially if you haven't been in that situation yourself. Today my party did the Sinestral manor, on last boss we managed to kill him after a 2.5 hour run, but the adds where still alive when he died and they killed us since our healer was down... ok so nobody alive to res... town run that's a 4 minute run or more plus the instance walking (with speed potions), anyways we got back to the boss chamber after only 5-6 minutes and bam!!.. the adds were still there but guess what ? no loot!!! it had disappeared. It IS much of a problem. This also happend after the dutchess for some reason didn't drop loot when we killed her... was that our fault too?. The game has just launched I give them that so I can be tolerant , but I totally agree with Kryptlin, this issue needs to be fixed asap. It's very annoying and very frustrating. Thank you .

It actually feels like the despawn timer on loot in dungeons is shorter than in open world...but that could just be cos the loot is sometimes more important.

I would like to see the despawn timer for loot in dungeons be made longer. If loot is set to not be enabled during battle and you get a pug that goes run run run without giving chance to pickup its a pain. Or just some of those longer boss battles with adds that drop stuff so that it doesnt despawn before the end of the fight (yes not all groups are mega gamers or elite geared :p sometimes things take a lil longer than they should).

Naw she's just crusty about the loot drops. Her and the zombie bear. The Duke can be quite cheap as well.

So, you are blaming bad play on game design? First off, you can prevent the adds with leashes, stuns, sleeps, etc. Then to top that off, your healer died yet nobody in your party had a rez scroll? Even if you get adds, run them around the room while someone rezzes.

While I do agree with the OP that there is no reason for loot in a dungeon to disappear, your example only goes to show the quality of your group and your play. I actually feel bad for players like you when you get to the level 60 content.
