Fully launched or are we moving into subscribed beta?

They're about to ask us for money for another month.

So, the question is, have we been delivered the services and features that were advertised to us which were supposed to be included at launch?

I'm all for supporting the game, but why are we paying up for novelty and subscription if they haven't completed what they intended to be revamped and launched?
This is probably more BHS's fault than EME's obviously since development is largely being handled by them from what they've told us, but regardless it doesn't make much sense for us to be paying subscription fees when they haven't finished the launch features, does it?

----

Obviously, as a devoted fan, I'll still be pitching in my change... but will the casual gamers? D2.. GW2... Planetside 2... Is the game ready for that resub ultimatum?

The servers are already feeling a bit underpopulated.

I'm seriously reminded of Vanguard by this launch.

Hey Tasho,

I've been linking this video around to explain exactly what EME does with the game, and how far their influence reaches: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0nHRWy7bbqE

I understand you didn't ask this, but I feel it's an important piece of information to have as a consumer of this game.

To say this is Bluehole's fault and EME has no amount of blame is incorrect. EME doesn't have a ton of power when it comes to development of this game. They are essentially the middle man between us and Bluehole. However, if you want to look at pure content you should look at Ktera compared to NAtera. Queen of the Argons content was released, as well as pvp features.

http://forum.mmosite.com/thread/2/160/20120213/kTERA_T4_Update_The_Queen_of_Argon-4f3a0072bfd8db113-1.html

EME is definitely holding out on content. They've already publicly said they're not releasing Nexus until there are more level 60's. The blame is really on both ends, but there is content. We just haven't been given access to it yet.

General rule of thumb with every MMO is give it at least 3 months after launch before you seriously start looking to play it. If you buy any MMO at launch (yes this includes WoW as they had the bare bones at launch as well) then you risk having little content, glitches, going through class balances, etc.

EME has a lot more control than that video lets on. They reduced the levels of 3 of the endgame dungeons, and rebalanced the loot for those reduced levels, removing a large portion of the endgame, even discounting nexus.

You guys know that EME rushed the release of this game by several months thanks to the legal antics of ncsoft right? You're acting like spoiled little children, cut them some slack, they've already gone above and beyond.

I would think that if EME is smart, they would release the held content before the free game day ends and people decide not to sub this month. But what do I know?

if they rushed it, why were they going "hurr hurr hurr NCsoft has no case"
