You guys know that EME rushed the release of this game by several months thanks to the legal antics of ncsoft right? You're acting like spoiled little children, cut them some slack, they've already gone above and beyond.

Maybe you don't realize how stupid this question is, so I'll tell you. It doesn't matter why, the fact is ncsoft was a threat and they have already rushed the release. This question is completely pointless.

Would you not be threatened by a lawsuit? Do you think the preordering customers were not worried of TERAs release when they learned about the lawsuits? You're a [filtered] moron for even asking that dumb [filtered] question in the first place. Obviously EME had to give a confident announcement to take the edge off its fan base, and in fact NCSoft had nothing on EME. Sometimes using logic can prevent you from asking dumb [filtered] like that.

The fact that NCSoft did a lawsuit... but didn't follow through with asking for an injunction means they don't have a case. and know they don't have a case. And thus, if anyone knows anything about the legal system, they'd know NCSoft doesn't have a leg to stand on, and its not worth thinking about.


Err.. don't you think NCSoft's final goal WAS aiming towards a "injunction" (to prevent the release of TERA in NA?). I don't think it matters if NCSoft requested an injunction or not, what matters the most is, will the judge even consider granting the injunction in the first place.

Here's a thought:

NCSoft didn't start the NA lawsuit until TERA had a release date. They had to wait until EME/BH showed absolute intent to release the product that they had issue with.

So no, TERA's release date was not effected by NCSoft's lawsuit because NCSoft's lawsuit could not be filed until TERA actually HAD a release date.


Please don't start blaming NCSoft for TERA's issues...that's just silly.


I'm going to direct you to this little bit of text that you should have already read.

Go research the details between everything that has happened with ncsoft and TERA, all the way back to Korea, before making a STILL POINTLESS argument against something you clearly don't know about.

... I see where their priorities are, probably won't continue to sub unless they announce they are adding something soon. Right now, there is no end game, I don't feel like paying money to run in circles in a city all day.

No versions of TERA have BGs right now apparently... But I can see that you are one of those people.

Have you actually looked into why bgs are not in?

They were terrible, KTera no longer has them, they are pvp bg less like us right now.

Nexus' need more 60's, they could be implemented but then you would just be complaining about them being there but useless and not doable.

There are other things not in the game but you chose these 2.... which have really good reasons for not being in the game.

That would be hard as even K-Tera doesn't have them. What you are asking for isn't possible yet thanks to Bluehole. REMEMBER that EME is a middle-man group.

Some smart posts in this thread so far. The 3 month wait is normally a clever idea but the problem with that is that players are needed to feed the fuel for the game during that 3 months. My friend calls it "Dirty Job" Syndrom. As in "its a dirty job, but someone has to do it". In the end, im happy right now as i am taking my time, not rushing really and reading the quests. I see great things happening and one of the things i do is i think a few people have missed.

This is a korean MMO at its roots and one thing they do well is events. I would think within the year, we will see a LOT of events, gifts and such from EME to keep us "sweet". Just look at the latest one at giving us the eyepatches and such, you have to admit that it is a nice move to give cash shop items away for free (if restricted) but i honestly see this as the tip of the iceberg with this kind of thing. I've been in enough MMO's to understand a direction by now and while yes, we are being drip-fed content, id not see it as a 100% failing on there part simply because we got the content we NEEDED at the launch, rather then all at once. Why add nexus when no one will really use it for a month? :) And as a note. I know level 60's are out there, not EVERYONE is there and now we are starting to filter in enough, i think we will see it very soon. :)

Our patch this week should finish off the original content. As much as we wanted it day 1 we had some bugs to iron out and some rebalancing to do.

We should have the patch notes out Tuesday, with memorial day we are pushing the patch back 24 hours.
