So, for the most part, the launcher doesn't have any major problems. However, over the course of an hour, the download "pauses" several times and tells me that the "Reliable source serving corrupt data". Takes about a 1-2 minute pause and then continues downloading.



Should I be hugely concerned about this? Is there anyway I can fix it that doesn't Involve deleting and trying to re-download?
If this doesn't cause any final problems (like file corruption) then I am fine with it doing this. However, the amount of times it does it, I will increase the total time its going to take to download everything and I don't have an amazing downstream. So, if there is a simple fix, please let me know.

I believe the launcher overwrites the corrupt data once detected, because EVERYONE else has gotten this error, and yet the game ran fine for everyone anyway.

Just by the nature of the internet, 0's and 1's get mixed up sometimes. Most systems have error handling to fix this issue. I bet it's just a poor choice of words (though an accurate description) of what's happening.

I've gott'n that too. the worst I had was the launcher looping its self do to the fact that I don't put my games in C drive, and didn't put a path name for the files to go to.

Yeah, it's been "normal" for most of us to see that.

SOME people have had a reduction of that error and increased download speed by turning off P2P sharing in your launcher options. I suggest trying this when your progress bar is in a "Downloading" test state, not when it says the "Corrupt" error.

Be aware though, that many people did not see an improvement by turning off P2P, some had a worsened experience.

I suggest giving it a shot, and seeing which one works better for you.

Yeah, I have tried turning P2P off, but seems like I get slower speeds. Thanks for the feedback though, good to know I'm not alone and its pretty normal.

It took me almost 24 hours to finish downloading the game on a 7 Mbps internet connection when it should only have taken 5 - 6 hours. :S

Just part of the Dl. It seems. It will fix itself and continue. Dl-speed was good at the start kept going down to next to nothing. It should have only taken a couple Hrs. but took half the night.
