No joke. The radar/compass at the top-right automatically identifies it for you. Plant nodes are green, Ore nodes are yellow, and Essence nodes are blue if I remember them correctly.

@ Katosu: You're right. I should've responded: "YES! I see the plant on the screenshot!" =P
