I was wondering. How does EME plan to combat the eventual death of open world game play that will result from implementing the WoW system in to TERA?

Best gear from dungeons
Gear is BOP
Must run dungeons to get it
Dungeon Finder makes it so you never have to go in to the world for anything.

I am just curious. WoW has already shown us what happens when you put these elements together. I have not seen any steps from EME to combat this.

I would prefer this to be answered by someone who plays (current and past) on a KTERA server, but...

I thought the -best- gear was all crafted?

Gear isn't BoP yet and when it will then what? Tell me son, what's going to happen then?
No one said the best gear can be get from dungeons only.

K-Tera is irrelevant. The NA version will be "westernized" and will not have the same system that K-Tera has.

the very best gear comes from PVP medals, which can be obtained from battlefields or OW guild questing (hence i see no obstruction to OWPVP possibilities)
the second best gear comes from dungeons (except maybe for second-rate players0
the enchantment fodder is crafted

It doesn't matter. This battle is lost. There was no one who fought this more than me in other games. I can only hang my head with regret that the experiences and satisfaction I got with the games of old will never be realized again because of the selfish mememe nownownow instant gratifiaction of the WoW generation.

i thought i read somwhere that the best gear is from dungeons, but you can enchant crafted to gear to be just as good.
