Don't roll on PvP servers if you don't want to be ganked. When you roll PvP, you are giving the entire server permission to kill you. Go play on a PvE server if you want to quest in peace.

No where in the OP did I read "QQ Im getting ganked, give me 8 channels." Why is everyone assuming he is on a PvP server?

Take a look at Feral Valley, it was 'recommend' and now is 'Medium'. People playing the game is increasing. I also have been seeing a lot of brown horses.

I'd also like the channels back. On PvE servers at least. It gives space to the people that want it. It has nothing whatsoever to do with the servers appearing busy or not. Chat across all channels is still combined.

The default throws players into the more populated channels. So the higher channels only appear less populated to the people that want to be on less populated channels. Win-win.

Your playing a game that has made grouping and questing as advantageous and easy as any other that I've seen. Want to go at your own pace? That's fine. I can't imagine anyone getting pissed off at you for grouping up for one quest then dropping to go about your business. You can apply to groups as well as invite and everyone in a group can invite so getting people together is quick and easy.

You not only get full credit for drops and kills but you can gather off the same quest node so your not slowing down there. And if all that wasn't easy enough, how about some bonus xp for being in a group? I play a mystic and solo quest quite often as I like to enjoy the scenery and the monsters from time to time but when I have a quest and see some people already working on it, I can chose to be anti-social and difficult for the sake of being difficult and compete for the quest mobs or I can hit the people up and share the quest. Or if like me your on a pvp server you always have the option of killing the people there and taking the mobs for yourself.

You don't need 8 channels anymore than you need 100 channels. I play on one of the most populated servers (Jagged Coast) and even when they had our server locked at full I very rarely quested off channel 1 because of how grouping and questing together work in the game. Even for someone who likes to solo from time to time.

I play in lower channels... Have no problem with questing.
