I liked the scenic route the first time... But it gets really annoying when you have to do it a lot... Anyway around this?

Pegasus is WAY too damn slow. and indirect. it really needs to be streamlined

i would agree for something like this, but it doesn't really bother me too much. Only the flight to Velika from the Island of Dawn was really long. The others were tolerable for me. I usually just use the Popori teleport to get back to Velika anyways :P

+1... The first initial pegasus ride was nice, but there should definitely an option to skip future ones. Even if its just you having to esc out of it every time as if it were a cutscene.

You can buy scrolls to instantly teleport you to any of the towns and cities if you don't want to wait.

I'm slightly against this due to the game being so beautiful and that teleporting around every single time doesn't give the game justice.

Also, I'm pretty sure it isn't "a cutscene" so they would have to program it as a cut scene instead of it being real time which would also be kind of lame in my opinion. xP

But it's not a cutscene, you are actually in the world flying around, the only thing cutsceneic about it is the warp zone which I wouldn't be surprised is actually a fancy loading screen.

It's to create downtime for traveling/gold sinks (despite how small it is) for travel scrolls, whether we like it or not. And a side note, dat warp-tunnel makes eyes bleed.

...pegasus scene is fine. go grab a drink from the kitchen or something if it bothers you that much.
