actionjackson83 on 04/01/2012, 03:23 PMhow about making 0-60 last longer and not try to get there so fast and maybe spend less time in the game doing other stuff outside of the game, you know like socializing with family or RL friends? I don't see what's the big whoop in getting to 60 fast as possible and purposely looking for a way to bore yourself out of the game.
Hi, how do you make 0-60 last longer? CBT4 was my first time playing NA version. I made an archer and did every content that was available and was able to get to level 30 playing 8 hours on Saturday and 8 hours on Sunday. Some told me that I was actually leveling slow because I took my time to do all the quests.

-Party together with 4 other people to ensure fastest possible killing.
-Mainly stick to red (plot) quests, as they yield the most experience.
-If out of red, do yellow suppression orders, BAM and dungeons are good for gold.
-Repeat.
That's essentially what most people did since CB2 as soon as the servers went live. I'd get home after work about 6 hours later and people would already be capped for that test. It's inevitable for there to be content locusts in every online game that releases, some just can't handle not being in the first wave of people to clear content. The problem is when they quit the game due to creating boredom for themselves, then run off to slander the name of that game on other various sites/forums, making it look terrible as a whole.

If you preordered the CE, you'll be level 60 after the 2nd week of retail.
Open Beta (no wipe) - easily get to level 30.
Headstart - easily get to level 45
2 weeks after retail - most likely be 60, probably sooner since EME is making it faster to level for NA version.
Since we aren't getting battlegrounds, what will you be doing? I most likely will get my endgame orange weapon while getting from level 55 to 60, so I'll probably be farming BAMs for money and trash weapons to get my orange to +12.
For all you people who knows more, what is there to do after level 60 and all +12 gears? Do we still have guild vs guild or is that taken out until summer as well?

Hm, good post.
Me, my lady, and a few other of my friends will be sticking around for awhile.. Gotta give this company a chance to play content-catch up with the other MMO's out there. I hope the devs can deliver.

One doesn't need programmed content to find enjoyment in an online game. The most fun I've had never came from clearing the hardest instance, dominating a battleground match, running around ganking anything and everything that moves. I get it from meeting and playing with people that know how to actually have fun. People that don't mind taking a detour and creating their own amusement instead of following a path that's clearly lit up and never going to disappear.
But I suppose some people aren't capable of creating their own fun. They see games as mere forms of accomplishments, achievements, and bragging rights. Good luck to you in Tera if you decide to rush to cap. I hope you find everything you're expecting waiting for you there.
