For those that hit 60 freshly, refer to below guide for what you can do for gold farming and how. These are mainly targetted to assist fresh 60s apart from ToT option.

1) Three Towers
Below is the best place for farming gold as a fresh 60. The mobs you'll be farming are level 58 Blood Fiends. This is a very well known place and one channel can only sustain one person. There're usually four channels available. For fresh 60s, this probably yields the highest gold / hr but it is also the most boring option and does not have added benefits of reputation.

- Map: Val Tirkai
- Location: Three Towers
- Camp: Mindcrown Chambers
- Room: Rage Transmission

- Gold rate: 400g / hour (Minimum) - 800g / hour (with vendor / trade brokering of the items you loot)

- Tips: Mix HP regen crystals with +dmg against normal mob crystals.

2) Balder's Temple
Balder's temple is the next best place to farm gold. You'll be doing this solo - Not in group. When you enter the instance, there're packs of sloths (monkeys) to farm at the field to the left - these sloths are easy to solo and drop 2g - 5g each, on top of a lot of t11 and t12 trash equipments you can vendor. DPS can repeat and rinse solo clear of the sloths in both normal mode and hard mode of the instance but it'll be slow or hard for Lancer / Healer. Note that you'll be triggering the instance cooldown by doing this and will not be eligible to queue for the instance for 2 hours (normal mode) and 6 hours (hard mode).

- Loction: Balder's temple instance, in Bastion.
- Tip: Buy Balder's temple scrolls and keep them in bank.

- Gold rate: 100-150g / instance cooldown (It takes 5-10 minutes to clear the sloths)

3) Dailies
This one is self explainatory... Do your 10 dailies a day for faction that has decent gear for your character (or head costumes that you want). Google "TERA Reputation Guide" and you'll see good ones pop.

When your reputation is higher and you have sufficient reputation credit to keep up with buying zyrks (faction rewards), you can sell the zyrks on broker for fair bit (100g per one normal zyrk 250g for one green quality zyrk). Zyrks are crystals that go in your accessory.

- Tip: Buy the town scrolls where the daily quests are at and keep them in bank for fast daily runs.

- Gold rate: 100-110g / 10 daily quests (+Rep)
- Bonus: You can sell zyrks for 100-200g a pop on trade broker.

4) Nexus
If you can make it, go to Nexus event on the weekend - If you're there for every clear of nexus event, you get about 300G during the one hour nexus event. Not only that, you'll be farming for Agnitor credit and reputation which you can use to purchase PvPvE gear.

- Gold rate: ~300G / Nexus event (one hour)
- Tip: You'll automatically get grouped in a random party. If your party doesn't have a healer, it is better to stand next to tanks as that's where healers in other party generally throw their heals.
- Warning: Don't do this if your computer is not specced...

5) Temple of Temerity
This is not for fresh 60s - it's for those that have sufficient equipment and skills to solo the bosses in the ToT instance (for DPS) and for tanks that will not be one shotted by the third boss. Healers should be able to queue for it at relatively low gear score.

Also, you'll have to make a decision - The instance drops dire badges that you use to purchase advanced glyphs with. However, you can also sell dire badges for 50g each - for a successful run, that is 150g each run.

- Gold rate: 150G / three boss ToT run (one hour CD using LFG tool)
- Warning: People are likely to kick you if you have low gear score...

6) The usual...
Run instances (sell fodders), clear any level 60 maps that you have not!

After 3-months of taking my time, reading the lore, and grinding area after area, I've finally reached lvl 60. I was/am confused about some things such as Reputation points. I have Rep Points for both Nexus, North and South Shara and have no idea what these Rep Points relate to. I've reached "Apprehension" status on Pathfinders. Again, not sure what the positive gain is on reputation points.

At the moment, running 3 instances: Three Towers, Zulfikar Fortress, and Balder's Temple. I got bored with the grind fest at Three Towers and stopped after completing only the top level of the Towers. Zulfikar Fortress has been more difficult for me as a Mystic, I'm dying in battle more often than ever before. Just reached Balder's, and for the most part enjoying farming/grinding sloths and robots w/ blades. Missed my first Nexus this past Sunday (received the quest and Nexus Rep Points), wasn't thinking about the time difference compared to Friday/Saturday. I arrived at ZF at 8pm Sunday wondering where everyone was. Glanced over the Nexus time, realized I missed it by an hour (or so).

Now, I'm at fresh lvl 60 with an more than enough to do in the way of Story and Zone Quests with a few previous lvl dungeons I've yet to complete. Been using lfd in catching up on dungeons lvl 56 to current.

Was was asking myself just yesterday, "I'm at 60, now what?" I've yet to figure out where I might get my Dailies from. Where to upgrade my mount as I want a lvl 60 Black Mount. Don't have a shortage of Gold because throughout my lvl'ing, I steered clear of any Engimatic gear/weapons but now I'm looking for my "Sleeper Set" as I here I might need this for Battlegrounds and AoG2. So, I've been grinding BT for Gold. I have a feeling it time for me to start the Enchanting nightmare if I want to be taken seriously in end game content. But really, I don't see the need for a Mystic to have a 'glowing' Sceptor. Really?

Anyway, keep the comments coming. Learning more than I expected at fresh lvl 60 than any other lvl of the game.

An alternative to item #1 is to go kill mobs in Val Kaeli (Kanstria). The mobs there have pretty much the same drops as the ones in Three Towers/Helkan. But in addition, you gain rep & credits for the Valsekyr faction. So every few hours or so you'll be able to pick up an HP+ zyrk and dump it on the trade board for a lot of extra gold.

Also, in Helkan and Val Tirkai you will sometimes loot an "argon armor shard" from regular mobs. if you get 10 of these you can exchange them for a gem that NPC's for 50 gold. The armor shard exchange NPC can be found in Zulifkar Fortress as well as Pathfinder Post.

OP forgot the place in Kanstria, Zulifar and Pathfinder.

After you at least get the level 60 quest gear, you can start doing Fane of Kaprima. That is where you'll find the Sleeper armor set. Be sure to watch videos about the boss fights so you know what's going on. As a healer, you'll want to pay particular attention to the stuff about the towers on the first boss.

And when you have the gold, don't use it to buy T12 stuff. Go straight for the T13 on broker. +5 T13 is equivalent to +9 T12 and is much easier to attain. At that point, you can run at least HM Fane which is a drop of like 1000 gold per 6 hours with stuff you can sell on broker.

Another good spot outside of BT:

South of Camp Curiousity:

Average gold netting:

530-650g( data gathered from 4+ timed farming runs) without selling t12 fodder And selling off any non t12 items. If successful with selling t12 fodder you can expect about 800-1100g overall easily, more if you get the t12 gold weapon fodder to drop.

There will be about two spots you'll be rotating with but before that, once you enter camp curiousity take a left and go up this small slope, if you went to the right spot you'll see about 4-5 Plainstalker Bear, if youve done any farming in Pathfinders, youll know how simple the bear AI is, gather em up and burn em down. Next youll move down the slope on the opposite end and see a decent amount of bears and sloths. But as a friendly reminder the sloths when enraged can hit up to 14k( on a sorc with +7 gear) so be careful about rounding up them.


Next keep going down past the building to your right until you reach a clearing. Youll know you reached the right spot when you see a worn down path with 3-4 bears on it(this will be one of the two spots I mentioned earlier)m do what you must here and burn em down. Next will be the spot nearby as well, you'll know again when your in the right spot when you also see 4 bears or so with some sloths.

Once you get those two spots down, you can easily rotate between the two since whe you finished
the other one the one next will spawn when you reach it. Rinse and repeat until your inventory is full.

Feel free to kill any stragglers/lone mobs when you farm as well.~

On average the bears and sloths drop table are quite respectable, each kill nets me anywhere from 25s to 2g 45s but on average I'd say about 1g50s is good. And unlike the other spots which while good has a better loot table since theres less low level items to drop.


Overall this may be a slightly slower farm spot but with some patience it can be an effective spot as well~


Disclaimer: This is done using a Sorc with decent gears, and of course there will be times your loot will be abyssmal. And like always your milages may vary.
