Why is it that a player from an enemy guild can add you to their friends list and see the zone you are in?

Wouldn't it make more sense to have the zone blocked out if you are in GvG together? >_>

No doubt. I have always hated MMO's that allowed people to add you to friends without an accept on your end. Its always abused.

Yeah, I mean.. It's nice that it notifies you that someone added you and all; but I'm not sure if there is a way to find out what guild that person is in.

Specifically speaking though, and I know it doesn't necessarily apply to what I was complaining about. The guild we went to GvG with had their members make a ton of random alts and add our characters to their friends list to locate our zone.
